Palermo truly has some gastronomic gems within reach... and Verdechiaro is certainly one of them, a gem for those who love vegetarian and vegan cuisine, with creative dishes and the freshest ingredients. I'm not that lucky, and to go there—at least once a year, during the long-awaited holidays—we have to activate the usual plan: "organize the holiday in a certain way" to have a valid excuse to stop in Palermo, at Via Alessi 40! This year, the excuse was a wedding in Marsala. The location is always elegant, with attention to the smallest details. The dishes seemed even more refined and elaborate than usual: the "Umami" pasta dish, for example, deserves a special award. The staff is, as always, extremely kind and professional. We went with a couple of friends who couldn't help but confirm every word of enthusiasm we'd spent describing it. If we made such a great impression, it's all thanks to Verdechiaro. Dining at Verdechiaro Restaurant was a true culinary experience. An explosion of colors and flavors accompanied each course, making lunch a unique sensory journey. Great care was taken in selecting the ingredients, expertly balanced. A true delight for those who love good food, meticulously prepared and elegantly presented. The wine cellar is also excellent, with a wide, quality selection. The service is a strong point: the staff is extremely kind, attentive, and always available. They accommodated us in every way, making lunch even more enjoyable. ✅ If you're in Palermo, you can't miss this magnificent gastronomic experience. Highly recommended!

Superlative culinary experience, beautiful venue, and welcoming, professional staff. We ate wonderfully, from the appetizers to the burgers and even the pizza. The desserts were exquisite. Must try.

Last night I celebrated my birthday at Verdechiaro. I chose this place to pamper myself first and then my guests. The atmosphere is serene, the space is very clean and elegant, the service attentive, and the menu unique and delicious. The appetizers and pizzas are also excellent.

Excellent restaurant with many vegan options. The cuisine is refined and tasty. We ordered a delicious pizza with vegan cheese and enjoyed a fantastic vegan salted caramel cheesecake. A little pricey, but worth it.

Impeccable hospitality and amazing cuisine The welcome was truly exceptional: whether it's the owner or the employees, you can't tell the difference. Everyone treats you on the same level, with great kindness and helpfulness, creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. I'd like to say I immediately felt at home, but the elegant and refined atmosphere goes far beyond that of a typical home 🏡. The "living green" walls particularly struck me—as a plant lover, I couldn't help but appreciate them! As an omnivore, I was genuinely amazed by the quality of the vegan dishes: the soy, in particular, was juicy, tasty, and perfectly balanced in flavor. An experience I highly recommend to anyone who wants to combine refinement, hospitality, and excellent cuisine. I have to come back to try the pizza 🍕

We had dinner at Verdechiaro tonight. Walked 2 k each way on the basis of previous recommendations. We were not disappointed. Extensive menu (vegetarian and non vegetarian), delicious food, excellent service. Could not recommend it highly enough.

This place has an elegant yet incredibly welcoming atmosphere, with highly trained staff and a well-designed menu that appeals to everyone: from vegans to carnivores, from pasta lovers to lovers of second courses. The ingredients are simply exceptional. Another strong point is the value for money: truly excellent! A personal note: when I asked why they didn't have Coca-Cola, they explained to me that the place doesn't sell products from countries that support war. ABSOLUTE RESPECT FOR THOSE WHO, IN THEIR OWN SMALL WAY, TAKE A CLEAR STANCE ON THE HISTORICAL MOMENT WE ARE LIVING IN. Support this place!

Sono stato in questo posto con amici. Il locale molto carino, il menù propone pizze e altri piatti, di cui circa la metà veg. Abbiamo ordinato antipasti, primi, pizza e dolce. Rutto buonissimo ma abbiamo speso più di 50 a testa. Da tornarci una volta ogni tanto

Conoscevo questo ristorante da tempo, grazie ai racconti entusiasti di amici, ma solo oggi ho avuto il piacere di provarlo di persona. Da vegano, sono rimasto colpito dalla cura con cui è stato pensato il menù vegetale: il tofu in crosta è stato una rivelazione per equilibrio e sapore, e il tiramisù vegano e gluten-free, leggerissimo e goloso, ha conquistato tutti. Il locale, fondato e diretto dallo chef Nello Occhipinti, è accogliente e il personale attento e cordiale. Un'esperienza da ripetere sicuramente, magari provando anche la pizza, disponibile anche in versione gluten-free e senza bordo alla romana!
