Verdechiaro In Palermo

My first time at Verdechiaro restaurant was a nice and unexpected novelty. Initially I intended to order a pizza but, browsing the menu, I was captured by several interesting proposals: the crispy octopus on purple potato cream, Roasted artichoke chips, sublime. The pizza dough was perfect, as were the dosage of ingredients and the combinations. During the evening we established a nice relationship of empathy with the chef Nello Occhipinti who revealed to us the secret ingredient of his menu: the passion for his work.5⭐.

Good food and very friendly staff

The food and service were excellent. This was the best meal we had in Palermo. Everything from the appetizers to dessert amazed us.

Ideal for an evening with friends but also for an informal business dinner.

An excellent address in Palermo! The service is simply impeccable: the servers are attentive to the smallest detail, always present without being intrusive. The boss takes the time to personally greet his customers, a nice mark of respect that we greatly appreciated. In terms of cuisine, it's truly flawless: the meat is cooked to perfection, the pizzas are tasty and made with quality ingredients. Each bite is an explosion of flavors. A TOP place for everyone, vegans and non-vegans. For those who are veg, there is plenty of choice and the dishes are all 5 star. the staff were very kind, we followed their suggestions and ate and drank at the highest level. Next visit to Palermo we will definitely return.

Conoscevo questo ristorante da tempo, grazie ai racconti entusiasti di amici, ma solo oggi ho avuto il piacere di provarlo di persona. Da vegano, sono rimasto colpito dalla cura con cui è stato pensato il menù vegetale: il tofu in crosta è stato una rivelazione per equilibrio e sapore, e il tiramisù vegano e gluten-free, leggerissimo e goloso, ha conquistato tutti. Il locale, fondato e diretto dallo chef Nello Occhipinti, è accogliente e il personale attento e cordiale. Un'esperienza da ripetere sicuramente, magari provando anche la pizza, disponibile anche in versione gluten-free e senza bordo alla romana!

We have been to Verdechiaro several times for both dinner and lunch... an intimate and welcoming place, excellent food with excellent quality raw materials, always friendly staff and an intimate atmosphere like at home... What can I say, highly recommended both for the restaurant menu but above all for the excellent pizzas...

Un ristorante e pizzeria che riesce a mettere d'accordo vegani, onnivori e appassionati di cucina fusion nel cuore di Palermo. La location è essenziale ma al tempo stesso chic ed elegante, un equilibrio perfetto per chi cerca un'atmosfera rilassante e curata. Il servizio è impeccabile: attento, premuroso e sempre con un sorriso. I piatti si distinguono per la qualità degli ingredienti, sani e naturali, ma con un tocco di originalità che li rende unici. La lampedusana (busiata fresca con triglie di scoglio, finocchietto, uva e pinoli) è stata una vera esplosione di sapori, un piatto che merita assolutamente di essere provato. I dolci, invece, pur gradevoli, non hanno raggiunto le stesse vette (c'è spazio per migliorare). I prezzi sono medio-alti: giustificati dalla qualità, ma va detto che a Palermo si può mangiare molto bene anche con qualcosa in meno.
