The vegan pizza was absolutely incredible! Probably the best I've ever had (and I say that coming from the vegan-paradise Berlin). This place is much more fancy than we expected, we might have gotten some weird looks by rich older ladies, which was kinda funny, but the food and the service was absolutely amazing!

Quality and courtesy are top-notch, but what's truly exceptional—and personally, almost unique—is the pizza dough. A very light texture with a delicate underlying fragrance. The crusts, usually a bit "doughy," here are a cloud of gastronomic delight. Highly recommended, also because it's truly rare to eat so well and of such high quality. Congratulations!

Extremely satisfied! The place is beautiful, and the staff is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, competent, and welcoming. There were two of us, and we ordered the spring rolls and potato tart with pumpkin and tofu cream on a bed of leek cream as appetizers. Then we had two "mosaic" first courses: mezzelune pasta stuffed with red mullet and fennel, with Mazzara red shrimp, and their bisque in blueberry sauce. The panelle were also delicious. All the flavors were balanced, and the ingredients were top-quality. The desserts deserve an honorable mention, especially the salted caramel cheesecake and the Sicilian citrus sponge cake. There are many vegan and lactose-free options, so even those with special dietary needs can easily choose. Highly recommended.

The staff is very pleasant, and even if you're a tourist or a foreigner, they do their best to meet your expectations and really get to know your opinion! The chef is really nice, and the server is very friendly!

We came specially to Verdechiaro as I am both vegan and gluten free and other reviews mentioned both being readily available. I was not disappointed.
It was a real treat to be able to eat vegan and gluten free versions of these dishes. I had the Il Genio pasta and a Tirimisu for dessert. Both were delicious and the perfect serving size.
All the staff were friendly, kind, and attentive, special mention to our server Filippo who generously spoke English with our table. Great service and good humour that made us feel relaxed and looked after.
There was also a duo playing jazz throughout the evening, which was the cherry on top of a great evening. The cocktails were also really nice.
Recommend, especially if vegan and/or gluten free as there were lots of options. Especially for dessert, which was a nice surprise!

Filippo was incredible, such an excellent host. Had the Il Palermitano to start and the Grilled Octopus for a main which was absolutely perfectly cooked. The Mango cheesecake was a bit of a let down but the Sicilian oranges and lemons cake was wonderful.
Plenty of vegan options and excellent breakdown for allergens.
There was a live 2 piece band who played delightfully. Would highly recommend an enjoyable evening

We've been here a couple of times for dinner and had a great time! The gluten-free pizza is exceptional, as are the turmeric soy strips and the burger. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and the staff is very kind, attentive, and helpful. We'll be back!

Sono stato in questo posto con amici. Il locale molto carino, il menù propone pizze e altri piatti, di cui circa la metà veg. Abbiamo ordinato antipasti, primi, pizza e dolce. Rutto buonissimo ma abbiamo speso più di 50 a testa. Da tornarci una volta ogni tanto

Conoscevo questo ristorante da tempo, grazie ai racconti entusiasti di amici, ma solo oggi ho avuto il piacere di provarlo di persona.
Da vegano, sono rimasto colpito dalla cura con cui è stato pensato il menù vegetale: il tofu in crosta è stato una rivelazione per equilibrio e sapore, e il tiramisù vegano e gluten-free, leggerissimo e goloso, ha conquistato tutti.
Il locale, fondato e diretto dallo chef Nello Occhipinti, è accogliente e il personale attento e cordiale.
Un'esperienza da ripetere sicuramente, magari provando anche la pizza, disponibile anche in versione gluten-free e senza bordo alla romana!
