Veranda Beach in Pianello del Lario has a great location with beautiful views. However, the prices are rather high. Three euros for a small bag with a scoop of ice cream surprised me. The overall atmosphere is very pleasant, but I would have liked the price-performance ratio to be a little better.

We had dinner here three times during the week we rented a nearby villa. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is pleasant. the price point is slightly higher than for the neighboring Laguna Beach, but the food quality is higher. The view of the lake through the glass walls is fabulous.. One thing to be aware of is that on Wednesdays, the restaurant turns into more of a disco. On other nights, though, it's a terrific dinner option that I recommend highly. You can also just stop by for a drink. We felt it was a terrific find in Pianello.

09/07/2024: Well, it's not cheap. But the dishes were very tasty and the service was polite. The owner is very tactful and knows how to take care of guests. This is not a restaurant for pompous tourists. It's nice, warm, family-friendly and at the same time at a high standard. There is a unique atmosphere!

28/08/2024: The lasagna didn't taste like lasagna, too much passata, little cheese and béchamel. The pasta was strangely seasoned, but maybe that's how it should be. The pizzas are good and presented in an interesting way. If I were to come here again, and I probably won't, I would only take the Pizza. Unfortunately, the cost of the "plates" was not visible and I suspect that it amounts to the amount given to the owner. In our case, we were unlucky because they added 10 euros to the order for 50 euros. Moreover, the service was slow and as if they were doing it as a punishment. I don't really recommend it
