Such a great, authentic Italian seafood spot in La Spezia. The hospitality and feel of the whole restaurant was gorgeous. Yes maybe dated, however to us this was an indication on what was to come. We were squeezed in on a Sunday when they say reservations are a must, so this was greatly appreciated and the food was lovely. Fresh, came quickly and certainly filled us up. Thanks so much!

Encouraged by the positive reviews, we ordered two portions of pasta carbonara. The pasta was served with a runny egg; it was more like scrambled eggs :( Furthermore, the bacon wasn't cooked through. The only redeeming feature of this dish was the fresh pasta. My friend ordered pasta with shrimp, which wasn't properly cleaned. We expected something completely different from this restaurant. The service was just okay, but the €9 coperto for three people was excessive.

My husband was a customer 40 years ago, we returned today and found the same freshness of the fish and the unchanged professionalism and friendliness of the owners Fiore and Luciano. Highly recommended.

13/09/2025: The focaccia is always exceptional, the selection is varied as is the wine list.
09/09/2025: A very friendly place that serves only one dish: focaccia. And it's so well made! For €22, you get an 80cm focaccia served piping hot and freshly made, with three possible options to enhance it. Perfectly portable for two if you have a good appetite. Can also be a good alternative for a larger group to enjoy a drink and properly fortify your stomach. Nice selection of red wines. I'm not posting a photo of the focaccia because my partner is in it, but the intention is there. Thanks to Acronia!
