VENETO chill Bar In Cornedo vicentino

03/12/2024: Characteristic place with large fireplace ready for the grill. As soon as I entered, for a dinner with friends, I felt at ease, the smiling and friendly owner made us sit down, bringing us water and bulk wine (red of questionable quality) to drink. We had booked some Florentine steaks, avoiding the first courses, but they recommended a 1/2 plate of maccheroncini with courtyard ragù. While we wait they bring us 1 slice of toasted polenta with 2 slices of soppressa with fillet. The maccheroncini were truly special, then came the good quality Florentine pasta (slightly nervous) and cooked properly, accompanied with various side dishes. Given the importance of the dish, we opted for a bottle of excellent Campo Bastiglia review. Closed with a slice of dessert. So far everything was perfect, I'd say....then the bill arrived.....€60 each....this is where the "stage" fell... It was a €40 dinner each which would have been paid with the promise of a certain return.....now, honestly, it is unlikely that I will return, a shame because we really felt defrauded.....

23/09/2024: What an amazing place for lunch. A set menu; with a 1st and 2nd for 15€ including wine, water and coffee. Best lunch I have had in Vicenza!
