22/08/2025: I'll start by saying that what I'll report below was immediately told to the restaurant manager, who responded rather rudely, saying I should have immediately complained about what we didn't like and not waited until the end!!! My only regret is that my wife and I had invited relatives and wanted to make a better impression on them (which is also why I didn't complain right away).
Having said that, let's get to the point: the mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses (1 cheese) was poor, with under-aged products and, above all, slices of salami tending towards "dark" (we think it was sliced long ago and left out in the open or covered up as best as possible), so much so that the platters served to other diners were not in that condition; pasta with wild boar ragù and porcini mushrooms... basically topped with a sauce that had nothing to do with ragù, was bland, and had a few pieces of a mushroom that was hard to identify as porcini.
The rabbit was good.
The desserts were average.
The location is beautiful and the service is fast (with a novice waiter, perhaps under 14, but that's understandable in a place like this).
Certainly, if you're looking for value... it's not excessive.
15/08/2025: La Locanda della Felicita is a restaurant located in Aviatico, in the province of Bergamo, at approximately 1,100 meters above sea level. Its menu features typical local fare (casoncelli, polenta with mushrooms and meat, and homemade desserts). The road to the Locanda requires great care, especially the last stretch. The view is truly breathtaking, and the garden is very well-kept.
