Overrated and a bit overpriced, but still good quality. You’re definitely paying a premium for location and a flashy store design; the gelato is good but many better spots to be found in the city.

Stratcietella is an ice cream that must be tried. The pistachio chocolate was also very successful. The portion size is quite sufficient and delicious.

They have a good selection of ice cream flavors. The service... you're a tourist, so it doesn't matter if they treat you well. I've tried better ice cream.

Visité Italia y mi hijo de cuatro años solicitó específicamente una caja de chocolate en forma de corazón con diferentes tipos de chocolate en su interior. Pasé por Venchi y estaba tan emocionada de ver ese regalo exacto. Andrea y Giulia me saludaron y me dieron una prueba de aceite de oliva de chocolate que era tan bueno que todavía estoy hablando de ello, nunca había oído hablar de una cosa así antes. Eran tan divertidos y acogedores, me encantó charlar con los dos y me dieron algunas grandes ventajas para las elecciones de helados. Sin duda una visita obligada! También me dijeron que hay lugares en los Estados Unidos, así que los buscaré.

Il Margutta vegetarian food & art

25/07/2025: My favorite place in Rome! The staff here changes frequently, but it hasn't lost its "mainstays" (thankfully!), the Super Manager and the very sweet Monika. The atmosphere is always refined and elegant, the walls are veritable art exhibitions that frame the delicious vegetarian food. The dishes are beautifully presented, varied, and tasty. I'm not vegetarian, but I think their menus are worth trying, and they leave you feeling like you're missing nothing. Every time I pass through Rome, Margutta is a must-visit, also because they have seasonal menus, so I try something new every time. You can tell that the people behind all this do it with care and dedication (and have been for many years now). Highly recommended, for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike! In fact, I'd probably recommend it even more to those who are still struggling with the idea of cutting down on meat in their diet.
