Veg&Veg In Roma

I was at Roma Termini with a friend and we decided to grab a quick bite at Veg&Veg, inside the Mercato Centrale Roma. She chose an arancini alla parmigiana, while I chose the Parisienne with broccoli (turnip greens) and potatoes. The Parisienne was very good, slightly spicy, with a nice contrast between the bitterness of the broccoli and the sweetness of the potatoes. Even though it was lunchtime, we managed to find a spot on the third floor to sit and chat more calmly, away from the hustle and bustle of the main floor. The staff is quick and efficient, yet friendly. The real strength is that it's the only entirely vegetarian place in the Mercato Centrale, with several vegan options. The offerings are varied: salads, poké, sandwiches, and smoothies, perfect for a quick but refined meal. It's always a pleasure to find places like this, where plant-based cuisine truly takes center stage.
