To give a more valid opinion I will have to taste the much richer weekend menu, the daily fixed price menu consisting of 5 first courses and 5 second courses offers well-packaged dishes, the clientele is vast and is divided between the outdoor area and the two rooms. Friendly and quick the manager, the young waiter is quick but inattentive.

I stumbled upon it by chance during lunch time on a Friday. The place was packed with workers who work in companies in the area. This is because the restaurant offers excellent value for money. With 12 euros you can get a first course, a second course with side dish, water and coffee. In the centre, with this amount you won't even get a plate of trofie with pesto. If you are in the area and want to eat well for a reasonable price, this is the place for you.

Excellent restaurant at the foot of the Siphon bridge over the Gierato. Ideal before or after a walk on the ancient aqueduct. It offers excellent typical Genoese dishes, great courtesy and really low prices. In my opinion, certainly one of the best places in the city. The last time we were there they practically brought me a pot of delicious stockfish, winning my heart 😍

Today for lunch I came across this characteristic trattoria completely by chance that I didn't know existed... it was exactly what I was looking for while wandering aimlessly!
2pm, the welcome immediately makes you feel good, the guy in the room is very kind and has a sense of humor!
I was with a friend and we ate wonderfully, a killer carbonara, excellent roast beef, excellent wine also offered by the house as a welcome comer! really nice place...

A good place to have a "worker's" lunch for €12. I was also there on the "stockfish" evenings, which I highly recommend!

Excellent value for money, typical dishes of the Genoese and non-Genoese tradition, but also some reinterpretations.
Very familiar environment, the classic tavern where you feel at grandma's house, both for the food and for the company that doesn't take long to put you at ease.
Two fantastic guys with a lot of desire to do, surrounded by an equally welcoming staff.
To try and try again!!
