VEG-Joy In Roma

I'm finally writing this review!! I came with a friend at opening time, and since it wasn't very crowded, the owner was not only extremely friendly but also explained several of the menu's specialties and shared interesting anecdotes about her background. The place's originality is worth experiencing; there are various influences, even from Asia, like India, familiar flavors mixed with new ones, in ways that don't kill animals! Unfortunately, the place isn't very well-regarded, ironically, right next to Mc//nald's... But it's also easily accessible by public transport and you can walk a bit nearby (I often pass by Forbidden//n M/nga, but there's so much more; if you walk a bit, you can even find a large and beautiful Fe//ri/elli, and an excellent B//ble Tea hidden in the tunnels). The bathroom is the restaurant's biggest flaw; the door can't be locked, so I basically have to wait anxiously. The interior is small but charming; you can also eat outside and it's comfortable, but the tables don't allow for much space. The prices are absolutely affordable, and very reasonable considering the high quality (around 8 euros per dish, I remember? But they vary, of course). The clerk was so kind she gave me a cookie. It's absolutely worth a try; one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. :)

I had lunch with my husband by chance. I chatted with the wonderful chef and her partner. I enjoyed it so much that I also signed up for the three-day plant-based cooking class they organized. First day of the appetizer class. I'm eagerly awaiting the next two. 😍

It was a joy to visit and eat here. Staff was kind and helpful; the menu was available in English. I had a lovely Bao bun, seitan gyros and vegan tiramisu! The dessert was delicious, creamy but also light. Highly recommended for vegans and non-vegans as well when visiting Rome :)

We had a lovely outdoor seating (it's on a side street) and enjoyed the excellent food! Simply amazing! And the staff was really nice :)

I go there often, and I still can't understand, despite having known vegan cuisine for years, how the chef manages to make such delicious recipes that are difficult to make with these ingredients. The chef is excellent, and the maître d' is super kind. It's not the same, however, when there's a chef in the kitchen, the touch is completely different, less refined, I'm sorry.

Very good, all served with friendliness and care in the presentation of the dishes.

I ate here with my partner and a couple of friends. I already knew the place; I'd been there for an aperitivo and had a great time. The dinner was delicious, every dish unique, but the prices for the main courses were perhaps a little high for the portions offered. The staff is very kind and cheerful, and the atmosphere is intimate and welcoming. There's the option of the aperitivo menu for €13, which includes a small platter of three appetizers. We instead ordered: an extract, a lager, a bottle of water, an appetizer, and two main courses, for a total of €57. We'll be back to try other things!

Great proposals, all very special but fresh and also in great quantity (yoghurt dessert huge!)!! Really nice place, small and delicious. I absolutely recommend!

Intimate and welcoming place, extremely kind staff and excellent service. Also very good food (highly recommended the lime cake!!!) and wide variety of choice among drinks. Highly recommended 💫
