Everything was excellent, a very nice and characteristic place, excellent typical Amarone risotto, it was a nice culinary experience, the kindness of the manager also makes the experience exceptional.

I had the pleasure of dining at Vecio Macello during a short visit to Verona, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The restaurant offers not only exceptional seafood dishes and pasta but also boasts an incredibly friendly and attentive staff. I had a bit of a mishap and left my backpack, which contained valuable items, at the restaurant. To my great relief, the staff handled the situation with utmost professionalism and kindness, ensuring I got it back the same day. This level of care, combined with their delicious food, makes Vecio Macello a must-visit. I will definitely return next time I’m in Verona!

Excellent! We were offered a gazpacho with melon as an appetizer. The dishes were very nicely perfumed/seasoned.
The salad [photo] was a wonderfully crunchy salad served with 2 delicious olive oils and a delicious balsamic vinegar. The service is very courteous and gallant. A real gem here!
If they played classical music as a background, I would come here every day!

Lovely warm welcome by a charming young lady who spoke excellent English.
We opted for the five course fish menu which exceeded our expectations at €75 was good value.
All courses were great but in particular the spaghetti tuna tuna tuna and the roast octopus.
Enjoyed wine by the glass including a sweet red Valpolicella with the rum baba!
Friendly, unpretentious, great food and service, thoroughly recommended.

This Restaurant was a gorgeous experience. After passing the crowded main streets of Verona’s tourist paradise we entered a calm sidestreet.
The service let us try our fresh A1 Italian charmingly and then continued in calm english to make us enjoy a colourful parade of culinary statements.
2 People, some water, bread and olive oil, 2 ordered dishes ‚a dividere‘ (‚to share‘, which was openly appreciated) and 2 pasta dishes with 2 glasses of vino led to a stunning experience of 120 euros that I will be happy to remember as spended for this evening.

Piacevolissima scoperta più defilata rispetto ai ristoranti del centro che offrono cibi senz'anima per turisti poco esigenti. Ottima selezione di piatti in menù, soprattutto pesce, e carta dei vini. Personale di sala e cucina pronto a venire incontro anche ai desideri dei nostri bambini. Non dimenticherò mai il benvenuto dello chef per qualità, quantità e sapiente accostamento di sapori, il fritto di pesce e verdure e la petite patisserie a fine pasto. Provate e non rimarrete delusi.
