Beautiful place, near the old port. The staff is kind and flexible, the dishes are excellent and generous. Good value for money: with 40€ we took 3 courses, wine, dessert, water, bread, cover charge.

Very nice place we had the jota, some bread gnocchi with goulash (very good) and some cevapcici... all very good and we didn't spend much compared to other places

Ottima la Jota, fantastico tutto; le fettuccine, i cevapcici (scusate se scrivo in modo errato), l'hamburger e gli gnocchi: da favola. Personale gentile e disponibile, sorridente.

A place among those suggested by the hotel where we stayed for a short stay turned out to be above expectations: an excellent place to enjoy typical Trieste cuisine in a pleasantly crowded, welcoming environment with very friendly managers. Light, home-made cuisine, excellent jota, boiled meats and meat in general. Fair prices, considering the quality and the very central location. An experience to repeat.

Siamo stati in questo locale il week end della befana, una comitiva di 13 persone, a cena il venerdì e poi il sabato siamo stati trattati benissimo. Eccellente l'accoglienza, buono il cibo, qualità eccellente, camerieri e servizio velocissimo. Che aggiungere Trieste è bellissima, e i suoi ristoratori eccezionali. Grazie al Vecio Canal, un saluto da Marsciano, provincia Perugia.

Rustic and typical Austrian place in the center of Trieste, kind, friendly and helpful staff, typical Trieste-Austrian food of excellent quality and quantity.
Very nice and welcoming atmosphere, delicious desserts and a fair price.

Everything ok, very honest but the only negative note were the fried potatoes a little too dry, otherwise perfect, I highly recommend it
