One of our favorites during our stay. The staff is incredibly friendly. It's a typical "Bacaro" tavern where you can enjoy everything from a smooth house wine to local favorites like spritz. And always accompanied by the famous Venetian tapas, or cicchetti. If we ever return, it will be one of our first stops.

Nice and traditional place, with a young, friendly, and welcoming staff. ... ... .... but 3 euros for a tiny piece of bread with 5 grams of something on top... too much. As if I wanted to at least make the equivalent of a sandwich... I'd have to get 10 pieces. 30 euros for croutons... Come on, really, really a lot. Yes, of course, you're paying for the experience, which is very good... and the place is on Strada Nuova, the main street. So it might also be a question of supply and demand.

We stumbled upon the Cantina, and are so happy we did! The wide selection of cicchetti made it difficult to choose, but everything was delicious! Definitely make your way there, you'll be glad you did.

06/03/2026: I gave it three stars because the food is good and the place is nice, but unfortunately, they always have a nasty tendency to shove you into small tables, especially when they're crowded, just to make money. There are usually three of us, and you can't put us at a table for two like they usually do. I have to say my last experience really left a bad taste in my mouth: I called to reserve a table for three and they told me there was room. When we arrived, it was packed, and they wanted to shove us into a table for two, as usual, and in the worst possible corner. I took issue with the waitress, who didn't bat an eyelid, and we left, desperate and hungry, in search of another place... People not only need to eat well, but also be comfortable. You can't put tables too close together or shove tables too small for people just to make money... That's not how it's done, get a grip.
01/03/2026: Classic restaurant food for all tastes fish meat pizza.
