Ottima cucina locale, pasta fatta in casa come quella che preparava la mia nonna. Una tappa obbligatoria per chi vuole godersi i sapori della Calabria. Locale molto curato e piatti squisiti!

Excellent food, very nice and well-kept place. The only real flaw is the slowness of the service, otherwise everything was perfect.

The restaurant overlooks a quiet square from which comes a very captivating musical background. The environment is comfortable and refined, the staff attentive and friendly. The courses are well structured and plated to perfection. The first courses and the stuffed pasta are made with skill and are excellent. Excellent atmosphere, service and food. The context is particularly evocative, the small square in the old part of Santa Maria del Cedro, a beautiful and old historic center. The structure of the Vecchio Casale dominates this square and makes it come alive. Impeccable service, Maria Francesca professional, very kind as well as the rest of the staff. The dishes are typical, I chose the land because I had this desire and I was not disappointed... on the contrary. Calabrian appetizer with quality products, excellent 0 km capocollo and pecorino cheese as well as the potatoes and peppers which, due to their goodness, I wanted to replicate as a side dish for the second course. First, on the advice of Maria Francesca, I took the homemade fusilli with nduja and sausage, a dish which, beyond the ingredients, I must say was delicate and genuine. I also tasted the mixed meat grill consisting of pork tart, bacon and sausage... good! I washed it all down with a Berbicaro, a red wine produced by a local winery located in Verbicaro. Nice bottle. I must say everything is really good and genuine, if I were to return to these places the stop becomes obligatory. Well done and well done in particular Maria Francesca...
