Very nice and welcoming location. There were two of us for lunch on a weekday in September. We ate very well and spent a fair amount, so we highly recommend this culinary experience.

Too few portions and high prices.

Franco's cuisine is the fruit of extensive experience, meticulous research, and a connection to his homeland. Il Vecchio Casale, in the heart of the historic center of Santa Maria del Cedro, is a regular stop on our stays on the Riviera dei Cedri, interpreting its ancient culinary tradition and spirit. The staff is welcoming, the atmosphere evocative. The menu is varied—without being overbearing—and the chef caters to his guests' needs, offering excellent recommendations (I don't eat meat, and I never miss my appointment with the magnificent scialatielli with crusco peppers and cream of Calabrian broccoli). Highly recommended.

A unique place, a beautiful and welcoming location, and friendly, polite, and welcoming staff. We had seafood appetizers, ravioli, and grilled fish, all truly delicious. I definitely recommend it!

Lette le recensioni siamo andati in questo locale con grandi aspettative. Il personale molto cordiale. Il ristorante è molto carino ma le sedie di plastica dovrebbero essere cambiate. Ordiniamo penne al sugo semplice e un piatto di patatine fritte. Un antipasto di verdure grigliate e peperoni cruschi. 4 fette di melanzane arrostite e 4 di zucchine 8 euro. Un raviolo all’nduja e ricotta con 6 ravioli dentro molto buono. Un pacchero con pesce spada e melanzane (sciapo, scotto e il pesce spada non aveva sapore) e una grigliata mista di pesce (buona ma porzioni troppo piccola). Ho fatto notare che il pacchero era overcooked e loro ci hanno offerto il caffè. Forse abbiamo sbagliato a scegliere dal menu non so. I prezzi non sono bassi per questo uno si aspetta una bella porzione. Comunque me ne sono andata che avevo ancora un certo appetito. Da migliorare le porzioni.

Consigliatissimo! Piatti succulenti e di qualità e personale super gentile, ci si sente a casa. Location molto particolare situata nel cuore di S.Maria del cedro, insomma tutto bellissimo!
