Vecchio Aratro In Torino

I was there on Sunday evening, everything was excellent!! Homemade cooking, but good if you want to eat well without too many expectations.

A beautiful place with a homey feel, a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, food cooked by expert hands that have refined their skills over time. We ate an amazing, piping hot and delicious fried fish dish. And what can I say? Vegetables from their own garden—unusual but surprising chili peppers. Dishes rich in flavor and good manners, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Here, you eat at home.

Just like home, the pleasant feeling of being in a welcoming and familiar place. Friendliness and cordiality, which are never banal, give that extra something.

A typical old-fashioned trattoria. Nice place, very good food, excellent home cooking. Appetizer cart with a wide selection, first courses, and a second course cart. The pizza is also good, with excellent ingredients. Excellent value for money.

A unique and authentic restaurant in Turin, there are few like it in the city these days, despite all the new and modern restaurants opening. My parents used to come to this restaurant 30 years ago, and nothing has changed since then, from the staff to the entire interior. There's no set menu; there's something different every day. You're served directly at your table, where they bring trays on a trolley from which you can choose your favorites. I also offer various first and second courses, all at a very fair price, including wine, water, coffee, and desserts. You won't be disappointed; the cooking is home-cooked, and their dishes make you feel like you're at grandma's house. They also have a pizza or focaccia oven, which is served at your table along with your chosen dishes. They've got it all!

I've already been to Vecchio Aratro twice, thanks to a neighbor of mine. The cooking is homely. Good selection of appetizers, first courses of decent quality. They don't skimp on second helpings when requested. Desserts and liqueurs galore. The fixed price is 20 euros, even on Fridays for dinner, for a good meal. Kudos to Dino, the long-time owner, and to Marika, the very sweet Moroccan waitress.

The perfect place for a true Italian experience! A hidden gem in this part of Torino.

Surprise lunch....and what a surprise, you eat well, the owner is nice and special. Definitely worth a try for dinner. Reasonable price. Congratulations again.
