This is an iconic pizzeria located in Pescara's old town. The pizza is excellent, the dough exceptional, even suitable for those who can't tolerate yeast and refined flours. The prices are fair.

Arriving on Saturday morning around 10:00, we felt a sense of desolation as all the businesses were closed (we later learned they only opened in the evening). We found only one bar for a coffee.

A historic pizzeria in Pescara Vecchia, also offering outdoor seating on Via delle Caserme: we tried the Abruzzese antipasto of hot and cold dishes (good), as well as the pizza. The pizza selection is extensive and the quality is excellent, with a dough we hadn't tasted in a long time. Prices are average, and the staff is friendly.

03/12/2025: Delicious pizza: thin dough and crispy crust with a pleasant floury feel. Outstanding rice supplì: beautifully crispy and melt-in-your-mouth. Smiling and super welcoming staff. Highly recommended!

01/02/2026: Great experience! The food was truly delicious, the typical Abruzzo arrosticini were incredibly flavorful, prepared with quality ingredients and served with care. The wait staff is friendly, helpful, and always smiling, making you feel at ease right away. If I were to return, I would definitely go back. I highly recommend it! 11/01/2026: If you're looking for a quiet place where you can feel at home, La Rusticana is a guarantee. The atmosphere is very informal and welcoming. We had excellent pizza and a top-notch local appetizer: bean salad, homemade giardiniera, and traditional cheese and olive meatballs. The liver arrosticini were delicious. Excellent value. We'll definitely be back!
