A very nice and quiet place in the heart of Pescara's old town. Excellent pizzas, standard or whole wheat dough (upon request) with a very small surcharge. The beer selection isn't huge, but they're all good. Great prices and friendly management. The staff is courteous and efficient. Highly recommended.

I've never had the pleasure of eating in-house, but I've had takeout pizza several times, and I can only confirm the many positive reviews. Shallow pizza with a perfectly crispy crust, and a dough that makes it lighter than standard Neapolitan pizza without sacrificing any of its flavor. Highly recommended!

27/01/2026: Super delicious! The pizza is delicious, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. The staff are talented, knowledgeable, and fast, and know how to work. I will definitely recommend it to all my celiac friends, because they have an oven and a dedicated station for cooking and creating all the celiac-friendly pizzas.
11/12/2025: Excellent pizzas, both for takeout and dine-in, with over a hundred delicious variations. They also have a separate oven for gluten-free pizza. Excellent value for money. The atmosphere is simple but welcoming, and the staff is young, dynamic, professional, and courteous. The only downside is the 9:00 PM closing time. But no one's perfect. 🤣 Highly recommended.

La Taverna Antica

01/07/2026: The kitchen brings back memories of the old flavors of when we were little and our mother would be busy preparing lunch for us. Everything was homemade and freshly made. Delicious.
14/06/2026: I'm giving it 3 stars only because the waitresses were very nice. Otherwise, we didn't like the pizzas and the price/quality ratio was too high! We definitely won't be back!
