The restaurant was quite good, but not excellent.
The welcome was a bit cold, and the wait was long before they asked for anything.
The appetizer was tigelle and crescentine, which were good but accompanied by slightly dry cured meats (ham and salami).
The baked zucchini flowers... huh? It tasted like hard semolina with a little dressing on top (but not too much).
The first courses were very good.
The desserts were some good, some not so good.

Typical environment of the area, but well-kept and clean. Owner Luisa, a very sunny person, tireless worker. Typical cuisine, little revisited but very pleasant and appreciated. To try, the expense included bottled wine and water.

Last Sunday I went to this restaurant with a group of friends and we all left enthusiastic. We ordered appetizers, first courses and second courses: generous portions, authentic flavors and a cuisine that truly enhances the territory.
The first courses were exceptional, in particular a tagliatelle all'ortica that I had never tasted before — surprising and truly delicious.
For the second course we had the rabbit, cooked to perfection: very tender, it literally melted in the mouth.
The desserts are no exception: we tasted a truly spectacular ricotta mousse, light and delicious at the same time.
The restaurant has a rustic and genuine atmosphere, which makes you feel at home right away. The cook is very nice, she transmits passion and warmth in every dish.
A beautiful, good and sincere place, to recommend and to which I will gladly return!

L'occasione è il pranzo di Pasquetta con amici.
C'è un menù ridotto ad hoc per la festività ma è del tutto normale, siamo in 7 al tavolo e decidiamo di prendere un po' di antipasti e poi lasagne, balanzoni ai funghi e strichetti. Le porzioni di lasagne però non bastano e ci viene proposto un "assaggio"
di tagliatelle al ragù. La qualità dei funghi, assaggiati anche con la polenta fritta, è sorprendente! Forse l'unica pecca la lasagna che risulta un po' secca, forse troppo poca besciamella.
Il resto è una soddisfazione dietro l'altra, tagliatelle buonissime e i balanzoni eccellenti.
I vini sono praticamente tutti del territorio (Manaresi, Bonzara ecc.) e alcune proposte vengono dalla cantina Isola a meno di 500m dal ristorante.
Non potevamo cascare meglio di così avendo prenotato il sabato per il lunedì e ci torneremo di sicuro con la curiosità di vedere il menù completo.
