Typical Emilian cuisine, with some small reinterpretations. Excellent food and good service.

The first courses were very good, but we expected different prices from those published on their website. I will publish the menu, with the real prices, in the photo.

The occasion is Easter Monday lunch with friends. There is a reduced menu specifically for the holiday but it is completely normal, there are 7 of us at the table and we decide to have some appetizers and then lasagne, balanzoni with mushrooms and strichetti. However, the portions of lasagna are not enough and we are offered a "taste" of tagliatelle with meat sauce. The quality of the mushrooms, also tasted with fried polenta, is surprising! Perhaps the only flaw is the lasagna which is a little dry, perhaps too little bechamel. The rest is one satisfaction after another, delicious tagliatelle and excellent balanzoni. The wines are practically all from the area (Manaresi, Bonzara etc.) and some proposals come from the Isola winery less than 500m from the restaurant. We couldn't have done better than this having booked on Saturday for Monday and we will certainly be back with the curiosity to see the complete menu.

L'occasione è il pranzo di Pasquetta con amici. C'è un menù ridotto ad hoc per la festività ma è del tutto normale, siamo in 7 al tavolo e decidiamo di prendere un po' di antipasti e poi lasagne, balanzoni ai funghi e strichetti. Le porzioni di lasagne però non bastano e ci viene proposto un "assaggio" di tagliatelle al ragù. La qualità dei funghi, assaggiati anche con la polenta fritta, è sorprendente! Forse l'unica pecca la lasagna che risulta un po' secca, forse troppo poca besciamella. Il resto è una soddisfazione dietro l'altra, tagliatelle buonissime e i balanzoni eccellenti. I vini sono praticamente tutti del territorio (Manaresi, Bonzara ecc.) e alcune proposte vengono dalla cantina Isola a meno di 500m dal ristorante. Non potevamo cascare meglio di così avendo prenotato il sabato per il lunedì e ci torneremo di sicuro con la curiosità di vedere il menù completo.

On Saturday we had the pleasure of having lunch in this restaurant. The environment is rustic and with attention to detail, the food is excellent and served with kindness. The house starter offered, exquisite as are all the courses from A to Z, such as the black truffle flan and the tortellini in broth, as well as the artichoke slices and the rabbit with Tropea onion. The trifle, very good. Congratulations to the lady who masterfully manages the restaurant.

it's always a pleasure to come back! and like good wine, the more time passes the more the Vecchia Osteria improves: hospitality, service, dishes and also friendliness for an excellent quality/price ratio. "until next time"

Abbiamo pranzato con amici dopo aver prenotato; esperienza molto positiva, ambiente accogliente e rustico, personale gentile e la titolare persona squisita molto affabile. Le portate sono state tutte più che soddisfacenti, preparate con cura e attenzione, qualità ottima una menzione particolare ai dolci: una crema di ricotta delicata e buonissima, arricchita da miele di corbezzoli difficilissimo da reperire. Esperienza senz'altro da ripetere...Bravi
