Stumbled upon this restaurant on accident! So glad we did! Such a great view and delicious food. Ended the evening with some homemade limoncello from the owners mom!

Osteria located on the hills of Lucca (if I can generalise) where you can eat both inside and outside; what is certain is that from every table you can enjoy a breathtaking view, as well as a quiet, familiar and even romantic atmosphere. The service is a treat and the proposals allow you to savour real local delicacies, typical of the area that hosts us (a plus the jams that accompany the cheeses); wide choice of meats, always local, and also inviting first courses. The place is super pet friendly!!

Da chef posso dire che non ho trovato alcun difetto in questo delizioso ristorante. Una scoperta fatta per caso alla ricerca di un posticino in cui cenare. Mio marito ed io, in arrivo da Piemonte non solo per piacere ma anche per lavoro, siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti nell' assaporare i salumi e la carne che offrivano nel menù. Personale gentile, ottimo servizio, prezzo totale corretto per ciò che abbiamo consumato. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente se mai capiteremo in questa zona e nel frattempo lo consiglio a tutti voi che leggete....

Capitati per caso dopo la visita a Villa Torreggiani (che merita), abbiamo pranzato in questo bel locale curato con una bellissima vista collinare. Personale affabile e simpatico, piatti molto buoni e prezzi non elevati. Consigliatissimo!

Restaurant located on the hills of Lucca (San Pietro Marcigliano), sober environment but with a breathtaking view you can see the world, visited for a dinner, trained and kind staff, menu not very extensive but all very good, wine list, a variety of steaks on display, I and whoever was with me, we really enjoyed the food consumed, I recommend you visit.

Tastefully renovated room, you can enjoy a magnificent view. Well prepared and well presented food. It is definitely a worthy and advisable restaurant. Prices in line with the competition.

21/06/2025: A place with a unique view and vibe. Very good food and drinks. The pool is great, too!
03/06/2025: I stayed here for 7 days in May for a conference and overall had a good experience. Our room had a great view of the mountains and the bed was very comfortable, although everything in the hotel seemed a bit dated. They cleaned the room each day and we did room service twice and it was prompt and tasty. My husband ate at the restaurant for all meals (really the only food options are the ones on property) and said it was good. The views are amazing! It is very secluded - to get to Lucca it is 100 euro taxi (one way) and to get to Barga it is a 40 euro taxi. We just enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and then did a bit of walking around the hotel which is very nice but up a giant hill. We also walked to a nice winery that was about a mile away in a small town. The service was excellent at the bar and the front desk- they helped us call taxis when we needed them. Our biggest downside was our shower was either burning hot or freezing cold and the water was basically a trickle.

Pizzeria Dal Ciaccia

19/06/2025: We came back several times because the pizzas were so good. The owner was super friendly and helpful. If you want to try delicious, quality pizzas in Italy, this is the place. I highly recommend it.
14/06/2025: Very good wood-fired pizzas, friendly and kind owner. It's nothing fancy, but it has the most important things: quality and service. 100% recommended.
