We spent eight days in a stylishly located hotel, set atop a mountain in a charming historic town. The view from the hotel and the well-kept garden with pool is impressive and inviting. The restaurant also offers a wonderful panoramic view. The staff was consistently friendly and accommodating – we received a warm welcome. Our room was quiet and had a balcony. However, at approximately 12 square meters, it was quite small, as was the bathroom. For guests who need more space, we recommend booking a larger room. The parking lot is about 300 meters from the hotel. We booked half board. Dinner consisted of a set menu with two choices per course (starter, main course, dessert). Unfortunately, the dishes were repetitive during our stay, which was disappointing given the diversity of Italian cuisine. For future stays, we would forgo half board and instead take advantage of the culinary offerings in the surrounding towns. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations and differed significantly from the images on booking platforms. The buffet was very simple: mostly baguettes from the day before, fresh croissants, one type of sausage, and one type of cheese – with no variation throughout the week. This somewhat tarnished the otherwise positive overall impression. Overall, the hotel offers a fantastic location and a pleasant ambiance, but there is room for improvement in the dining area.

We ate at the Hotel Vatluna in Ventulonia with our family – and it was a truly lovely evening overall! 🍷 The ambiance is exceptional: a stunning view, especially from the rooftop terrace, and a wonderfully relaxed place to end the evening with good food and wine. The cuisine is authentic, fresh, and high-quality – all the dishes served at the table were excellently prepared and lovingly presented. Only my own piece of meat (a large 1.2 kg piece on the bone) was a bit fatty – it was the last piece, so this can happen. The kitchen staff were charming and accommodating, offering a bottle of red wine on the house, which quickly made us forget this minor disappointment. Overall, a fantastic restaurant with heart, atmosphere, and flavor – we'd love to come back!

My wife and I used this hotel as a starting point for our trips around Tuscany. It is an absolutely exceptional base from which you have an absolutely amazing view of the surroundings. The hotel has its own restaurant with a terrace, which also overlooks the surroundings and where you can enjoy exceptional food with an equally exceptional environment. The hotel is equipped as standard. Unfortunately, we had a weak wi-fi signal and our room was quite small, but what is not in Italy.. :) We were very satisfied with the accommodation, but it must be said that we only spent the night at the hotel and had dinner here twice, because we were driving around Tuscany for whole days, so I cannot judge whether it is a suitable place to spend the whole day at the hotel.

I stayed at the property for work. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was nice and cozy. I parked in front of the hotel, which, being located in a village, isn't particularly dangerous for vans. I didn't have the opportunity to check out the pool, garden, and sauna, which were available, but I didn't have time. The view from the room was breathtaking, to say the least. One of the most beautiful I've ever had. It's definitely a great place for a quiet stay in a beautiful and relaxing location.

I spent three nights in this very well-kept, clean hotel, with friendly staff and a swimming pool with a view of the Maremma... I think I'll be back.

Very disappointed with the room we were assigned, room number 9, called the comfort room because it has a balcony with two outdoor air conditioning units and a view spoiled by the roof and chimney of a house. Similarly, this room, supposedly for 3 (one large double bed and one extra bed), only had a camp bed, small and extremely uncomfortable. So much so that our daughter had to sleep with us. The room has no light. The air conditioning is very poorly positioned; it blows directly on your head, and it's impossible to adjust the blades. Sleeping with the window open is also impossible because the air conditioning unit in the neighboring room was noisy. The hotel is poorly soundproofed; we were under the restaurant, so you might as well know how noisy the chairs were in the evening and from 8 a.m. onward when breakfast opened. Housekeeping was briefly done. The towels aren't always changed, and there's no toilet paper, so we had to ask for more... The strong points are, of course, the exterior with its view and pool, and the friendliness of the staff. In short, I don't recommend this hotel for three people.

The hotel is located in a small hilltop village, offering an exceptional view from the mountains to the sea. The pool is beautiful, the restaurant is excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Don't be fooled by some negative reviews (especially those about the parking) everything was perfect, clean, excellent for spending a few relaxing days, excellent food

I really enjoyed relaxing on the hill. The pool was also very large and had a beautiful view. The staff was very friendly.
