25/06/2024: Il nome già la dice lunga sul cosa ti può offrire un locale del genere. Piatti tipici campani a volte rivisitati con estro e fantasia. Ingredienti ottimi e saporiti. Andateci per provare e credere.
30/05/2024: Given a SMARTBOX given to us as a gift, seeing that the place has an agreement, I try to send an email to ask what they offer for the voucher.
The written response: “FOR EACH of the two diners TWO pieces of fried food chosen from those available:
Meatball with sauce accompanied by broccoli
Sausage and broccoli
Tuna meatballs accompanied by grilled vegetables”.
However, when we show up, despite showing him the printed email together with the voucher, we are told that we are entitled to only ONE "piece of fried food each", denying the evidence even in front of the attached printout, making us look like idiots who didn't have understood nothing of what was written. Now Italian is not an opinion! If you write something, then denying it for a difference of a few cents in raw materials that they will have to use is truly ridiculous and a bad impression, especially in front of new customers that you would have to win over in order to have them more often in your restaurant.
Unfortunately, many restaurateurs fail to understand that Smartboxes are not a means of making good money but of making themselves known and approaching new customers. And to be seen waiting for that voucher just to try to get the maximum profit behind them is truly an ineffective behavior for your business. But you have to understand this!
However, given the ridiculous difference in quantity offered, we ignore it without making any controversy and in addition to the SINGLE piece each that they brought us, we order other dishes and drinks, choosing them from the menu that we had downloaded the same day from their website (they did not give us no paper menu to choose from).
Well, in the end, we are amazed to note that compared to the prices displayed in the website menu downloaded on the same day, those applied are higher.
A tip for the manager: if you change the prices of your offer, remember to also change what is displayed on your official website, it is not nice to think of spending an amount and then discover that the amount you actually apply will be higher.
However, the place is not a restaurant but just a place where it is possible to taste Neapolitan dishes but with the limitation of only a few tables at which to sit, which will be set for you with a placemat.
Definitely more suitable for takeaway, for a happy hour, for a snack after the cinema or for delivery. Not for lunch or a formal dinner.
The specialties are mostly pre-cooked and displayed in the shop window.
Some discreet, others less so, but not exceptional and never with a Wow effect, especially in the presentation.
Remember that it is not possible to have a coffee at the end of lunch unless it is made with a mocha.
Would I go back?
Probably just for the dad.
