The food is amazing. We had the basic pizza, the gnocchi with pesto, and a wonderful pasta with walnut sauce. Our waiter patiently helped translate the menu for us, and made recommendations.

A beautiful trattoria with friendly and attentive staff and a focus on Genoese tradition. The farinata is superb, beautifully cooked on top and bottom, and just the right amount of softness in the center. The cheese focaccias are also worth trying. The reservations for theater hours are also priceless.

One of the best cheese focaccias in the city. I've tried several dishes over the years, and what can I say, they're always delicious. Quick service and friendly staff. The almond and salted caramel pudding is my new favorite dessert.

We had very tasteful pizza here for a good price in June. One waiter was very polite and helpful, but when we wanted to pay he was replaced by some colleagues. It took us more than half an hour to get the attention of anyone and get the bill, while tables next to us were served with food.

03/02/2026: We had a great time, the pesto was delicious, and the service was attentive and helpful. I really enjoyed the desserts, some of which you won't find elsewhere; they're original and made with local Ligurian ingredients. The only small flaw was the ravioli au tuccu served with plain tomato sauce, but since we didn't have much time to clear the table, we didn't return it. I have to admit, they were absolutely delicious, despite that.

La Trattoria da Paladini

08/02/2026: Sunday lunch: the place was packed, yet not noisy. The service was excellent and the food was truly delicious. We'll be back.
07/01/2026: A great alternative to the touristy spots in Santa Margherita Ligure or Camogli. Excellently prepared fish dishes at a more than affordable price. Service by young, truly capable and almost professional staff from the local hotel school.
