The food was good. Surprise: the limoncello at the end was delicious. 😍

Our first evening in Castellammarre di Stabia and we found this gem of a restaurant. Perfectly placed for watching the sunset but what topped watching the day end was the wonderful cuisine and service offered here at Vanilla. The food is delicious, beautifully presented with wonderful service by this truly family run restaurant. The chef personally serves your chosen dish which was lovely which added to this special evening. We just couldn't leave once finished, so chose to have a few glasses of wine whilst soaking up the wonderful atmosphere. A must visit if you are staying in this area.

Second visit in a week. The food is great but the service is lacking on the second visit. We were amused when we were given an ice bucket for the red wine, but after that the service deteriorated. After our plates had been cleared and our wine drunk we waited over 30 minutes for them to ask if we wanted coffee or dessert. Nobody came, so when someone actually appeared at the next table we just asked for the bill and left. Such a shame as we had a good experience on the first visit and were even planning our third. If there was a problem behind the scenes, it does not hurt to explain to your patrons.

It's delicious and pretty quick. We walked in and just sat down because it's nice. The service is okay, and we didn't have to wait long for the food. It's a good place to eat. It's not bad.

Wow, great food at great prices for the area. We really enjoyed the meat and pasta, highly recommend the pasta with swordfish. Very nice atmosphere facing the sea, waiters are helpful and fun. Highly recommend A small note about the steak, the meat was hard to chew but still very tasty (we asked for medium and it did come perfect medium)

The food was delicious and the prices were absolutely reasonable. However, we had to wait quite a long time for the food, which wasn't a problem given the beautiful view of the sunset and the sea.

Went to Vanilla Wine Bar and Restaurant for my first meal in Castellammare, and it was even better than I hoped. Francesca gave fantastic recommendations and, when it started raining, kindly packed up pizza for my family. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it’s run by a wonderful mother-and-sister team. This is a true family gem you won’t want to miss.

Great cooking lesson at Vanilla with Paola and her family. We learnt about cooking pasta and traditions in Italy. Food was amazing, wine was excellent and company was the best. Highly recommend for dinner or the cooking lesson.
