Delicious gelato! Vanillabio is a must-visit in Como. Their gelato is simply the best I've ever had in the city: creamy, intense, and with original flavors. The staff is very friendly and always smiling, ready to offer the best recommendations. My favorite flavors? Stracciatella and hazelnut—unmissable!

A very nice ice cream parlor. The location is a bit inconvenient, however, as there's another ice cream parlor right next door. However, I have to say, this one is much better. The staff was very attentive and made the ice cream with great care. The ice cream was delicious.

I wanted to trust the experience without reading the reviews and I have to say thank goodness! Really good and abundant ice cream, you can feel the high quality of the product (whoever says otherwise is probably used to eating ice creams full of sugar). The flavors of the ice cream are simple and well made. Highly recommended!

Decent experience. Coconut ice cream was pretty good but very sweet (a bit similar to bounty for those who like it that way), the cookies ice cream tasted kinda watery and did not have cookie pieces but dark chocolate pieces inside, almost like a straciatella.

The man who works there is very nice! The first time we came the amarena cherry was delicious with whole cherries in it. The avocado was not what I expected. I thought this one would be creamier. The coconut was very tasty. I personally didn't like the sorbet, it did contain real fruit but it was very watery. On our second visit we were looking forward to the amarena cherry ice cream, but unfortunately there was no cherry to be seen and the amarena flavor was hard to find.

21/10/2025: Loved eating here. As an italian, the lasagna tasted homemade and just like from my nonna (in a very positive way). Pesto pasta was also delicious. You could taste the fresh ingredients and strong flavor of them which I haven‘t experienced anywhere else until now. The atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous. The music, the hand painted menu, everything just felt like you were in a romantic movie. The only downside for were that the pesto pasta was a bit too salty and the prices.. other than that perfect.
21/10/2025: The place is nice and rustic, with a lot of character, however the food was very salty and bland. Despite the pasta being home-made, the sauces were nothing special and we left feeling that we honestly make better pasta dishes at home (not how you want to feel whilst on holiday in Italy!). The staff began nice and friendly but towards closing time (9pm, quite early) were quite pushy to get us to leave. The tiramisu arrived in traditional moka coffee pots which was a nice touch but aside from that was nothing special either.
