Typical old-time trattoria. I'll focus on the positive aspects: whoever wrote that the staff and owner are rude perhaps had a bad day or perhaps had a bad attitude towards them. They were all courteous. I'm used to being kind, smiling and saying thank you if, for example, I'm informed about the waiting time. And we know: smile calls smile. They immediately warned us that we would have to wait for the eel and I would have been surprised otherwise because if you grill a 1kg eel in less than half an hour there is something wrong. I informed them of my allergy and they immediately came back from the kitchen to tell me that what I had chosen was not worth taking and immediately presented me with an alternative on the same basis. The portions are far too generous, the prices normal. Not all the fish is caught, but the menu is clear in warning that there may be frozen products. I must admit that the mussels marinara were not cooked expressly but they were still fresh and very good. Probably prepared in quantity before starting the service. You can park comfortably. It should be noted that despite the enormous fireplace that is always active, there is no smell of embers or grilling at all. Thanks also to the grill chef who allowed me to take the photo. One last thing... the trifle is stratospheric.

Locale consigliato da un amico che lo aveva provato ed era rimasto soddisfatto per l'anguilla alla brace ed il pesce. Siamo andati di venerdì sera e abbiamo trovato soltanto due tavoli occupati ed il resto delle sale vuote il chè non stato incoraggiante. L'inizio non è stato positivo in quanto dal menù mancavano alcuni piatti di pesce che invece avremmo desiderato, lo stesso dicasi per i vini anch'essi mancanti dalla lista. Gli antipasti caldi di pesce sono soltanto tre e abbiamo optato per il carpaccio di tonno che ci è piaciuto. A seguire grigliata di pesce di buona quantità e qualità, complessivamente siamo stati abbastanza soddisfatti, peccato per le carenze ma abbiamo comunque deciso di ritornarci portando altri amici per provare anche altri piatti di pesce come la catalana e magari il risotto o l'anguilla e sperando che le lacune vengano risolte. Giusti i prezzi e simpatica la signora che ci ha serviti. Torneremo.

The lunch was decent, generous portions, service quite good because they made a bit of confusion in the kitchen because I had to wait more than half an hour for the three fried foods I ordered when half of my table had already brought part of the second courses but all in all I'll be back to eat because everything is good
