We were in Bologna for the Radiohead concert, and since everything in the city center was packed, we found a table almost by chance at this little restaurant... and I'd say we were truly lucky!
The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, making you feel immediately at home. The menu isn't extensive, but the dishes are small and well-made, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The service was also kind, friendly, and attentive, without ever being intrusive.
A simple place with a lot of heart, perfect for a quiet lunch. If we return to Bologna, we'll definitely be back!

It's rare that a restaurant this well known lives up to it's reputation, but this place absolutely does. They serve up great traditional local food without repeating all the same plates as every other restaurant, and with genuine friendly service and a homey atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcome. Especially outstanding on our visit were the balanzoni and the grilled mackerel with cabbage, but we also loved the garganelli, the salumi with crescentine and the cheese plate. Reserve well in advance!!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. This is the kind of magical place where the food, the service by the owners, and the overall cozy atmosphere makes you feel right at home and at the same time brings you on a delicious culinary journey. I will always remember this meal; one of the best I've had in my life

What can I say? A very intimate place, always a surefire hit. Excellent food, excellent reinterpretations of Bolognese tradition, and a couple who work together impeccably. Highly recommended!

By far the best meal we had after 2 weeks in Italy! Simple preparations, but flavors were on point. Portion sizes were perfect (not too big). We had a pork dish that almost made my hudband weep, it was so good. Risotto was cooked perfectly. Wine was excellent. If you are wanting a white tablecloth experience, this is more of a mom and pop place. But that is what we love when traveling, especially when the food is exceptional.

It's a typical Bolognese osteria, nothing industrial about it. Just a few tables, attentive service, limited selection, but I'd say that's a plus.
The potato ravioli with salted ricotta, pepper, and pecorino cheese were excellent. The grilled capocollo with red cauliflower and the tomino cheese with pears in cooked must were very tender. A glass of red wine and mascarpone with cooked must were all excellent.
