We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance after a trek in the Ficuzza forest. The staff were incredibly friendly, the food excellent, and the selection of meats excellent. Excellent value for money. We'll be happy to return.

Business lunch. The food is good. But if I had to change anything, I'd first eliminate the culinary inventions in a rustic setting. This place should serve the most home-cooked food possible. Everything else is fine. The owner is very welcoming.

Finally, a restaurant in Ficuzza that reflects the flavors and aromas of the village. I must honestly say I was amazed. Usually, in these places, everything is a bit superficial, and there's no attention to the customer; they just focus on seating as many people as possible, without paying attention to the customer—let's say, and all tourists. But at Vaccame it was different, I felt pampered and at home, nice and friendly atmosphere, trained staff, then what can I say about Mario, a truly kind and helpful person, he has a special gift, he knows how to understand the people in front of him and knows how to present the dishes which are truly exquisite, I won't specify which ones because they are all delicious and really beautiful to look at and eat, I tried the appetizers and the first ones and they are a joy for the eyes and the palate. You absolutely have to try the egg which on the menu is called childhood memory, an explosion of flavors really spot on, compliments, I don't remember ever eating something so tasty "and I have chickens in my garden and I have tried the egg in all sauces, but I had never eaten something so sublime" compliments again, we will return to try the dry-aged steaks that I saw coming out of the kitchen which are mouth-watering, too bad I was already full and I couldn't taste, but I will make up for it next time. As for the bill, "how much you spend on manci"—a good connoisseur needs a word. Thank you, Mario, for this wonderful experience, and good luck to the owner. Keep it up! Serious and discerning customers will appreciate it. The dishes speak for themselves.

Everything was excellent, the service was impeccable, the chef and sous chef prepared delicious meals. This isn't a casual review, but one truly written with heart and soul 😂. I highly recommend this place. The owner, Giuseppe, is a wonderful person and makes you feel at home.
