We happened to be driving past and wanted to stop for a bit. We were surprised by what we got. The Hugo (alcohol-free) was very refreshing and deliciously summery. I highly recommend the apple strudel and especially the chocolate-pear cake. Large pieces and very tasty! The service was attentive. We also got a small snack on the house with our order, which was also very nice.

Our favorite refuge and a must-see after the outward journey to Corvara. Nestled in a lush green landscape, surrounded by goats, donkeys, and rabbits. The food is excellent, from the pasta dishes to the sandwiches, and the service is attentive and friendly. See you next year!

The refuge has a rustic and simple atmosphere, exactly what you'd expect from a mountain retreat: wood, warmth, and an authentic atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The food was truly excellent: well-cooked, flavorful, and authentic traditional dishes that convey all the richness of the local cuisine. The service was fast and organized, despite the refuge being quite busy when we visited. One small point: it would have been nice if a few details had been provided that would have made the experience even more complete, such as placemats, a little grated cheese (grana or parmesan) for the first courses, and bread at the table. A refuge absolutely recommended for those who love traditional South Tyrolean cuisine and want an authentic experience in a simple yet welcoming setting.

We ate at this refuge, what can I say, everything was excellent, from the first to the second courses, the homemade desserts were a delight, the waitress Ester served us with kindness and a smile, super super super, quality price.. We will return soon.... From Puglia

In recent years, we've gotten used to having lunch at this refuge upon our arrival in Val Badia, as its location and parking are very convenient. The menu offered is typical for the area; both the food and drinks are top-quality, the service is excellent, and the wait times are very reasonable, even with children. There isn't a lot of seating inside, but outside there are both tables and loungers (depending on whether you want to eat or just enjoy a drink). There are also games for children, which, given the woodchip mulch floor, can be used even after the rain has stopped.
