First time eating here and we were impressed. The food is great but the service was better. We had an all ladies serving crew and they showed us teamwork and professionalism. The leader, Rosalla was warm, authentic and gracious. She served us with warmth and had good knowledge of the restaurant's products. Impressive crew and great food. Highly recommended and will come back next year again!

Among all the places I had food in Bari this was pretty … average. In all ways, food, atmosphere, service. There are much better places, even for Spaghetti a l‘assessina.

Pure spaghetti assassina was wonderful! Very flavourful and crunchy.
I also tried the dish with another type of tomato from a friend and the difference is noticable. I prefer the classic, although both are good.
We also ordered the special drinks, which were...interesting.
The only thing I cannot recommend are the slices of bread, which were very dry.
The service was also good. A friendly waitress explained the whole menu to us. We stayed a little past closing time, but weren't asked to leave or anything.

We wanted to try the pasta assassina while we were here in Bari, and I saw it was highly recommended. The place is nice, but it was hot, and they're friendly. However, we didn't like the food at all. I don't think it's a problem with the place, but with the type of pasta. It was too burnt and had no flavor; it's much more burnt than the socarrat in paella. It left us with a bad body and a burnt taste in our mouths. I think they add stratified pasta to make the flavor less bitter. We didn't find much of a kick at all. What looks darker in the photo is burnt, not sauce.

Don’t waste your time. Nothing great by any stretch. You can do sooo much better at so many other places a stone’s throw away. Don’t waste your money on mediocre food in a great city.

Wanted to try the all’assassina after watching Stanley Tucci.. Urban L’Assassineria did not disappoint!

siamo stati ad urban io e un collega di lavoro a pranzo: oltre a delizioni antipasti (frittelle di baccalà e strepitosi fiori di zucca fritti) abbiamo gustato due ottime assassine con birra 0.40 freschissima alla spina. caffe e bottiglia d'acqua e non pensi più a nulla
