Very nice view, and from there, a pleasant walk leads to the castle with its birds of prey display. The food was okay during our visit.

Delicious food and a wonderful view! We had dinner in the à la carte restaurant on the terrace – reservations are recommended in this busy holiday area.

It's so beautiful here that I'm almost tempted not to write a review. After all, I'd love to come back and still want to get a free room ;-) The location's clear advantage is the incredible view of Merano (even from the pool). But that would only be half worth it if everyone here weren't so incredibly friendly and attentive. There was a major renovation in 2024/25, so the restaurant, reception, and rooms have been freshly renovated. Everything is in tip-top condition! The bus leaves every hour around the corner. Combined with the proximity to Tirolo and the Algund Forest Trail, it's an ideal starting point for hikes and excursions.

Friendly host family and staff, great view of Merano. Always beautiful.
