Unique Al Palatino Garden Restaurant In Roma

Excellent experience, elegant place and excellent food

The terrace is exceptional. I recommend this romantic place, with fine and delicious cuisine. The staff is friendly and takes care of us until the end of the meal!

A unique spot for sure. We came for a lovely dinner and sat outside on the back garden terrace surrounded by greenery and soft lighting - it was a very nice change of pace from navigating the rather chaotic city that Roma is during the day, especially when you’re enjoying all the tourist related events we were cramming into our holiday. The inside restaurant area and, hotel entry and reception were also well finished with a modern aesthetic. The service was proficient; the food was very good, from the wine, appetizers, salad and, the Cacio e Pepe and dessert were excellent. A great spot, tucked away and unexpected as you approach - we had a short walk from our accommodations at the Fortyseven Hotel and, as we approached the somewhat secluded neighborhood, the outside street was under heavy construction when we visited, but will no doubt be completed spectacularly in time for the 2025 Jubilee starting at Christmas 2024 and ending at Epiphany 2026. Unique Al Palatino was a great find and truly a hidden gem.

This is one of very few reservations I made for our trip to Italy, it was one of our first meals so we were unsure if /all/ the food in Italy would be THAT good or if this restaurant was especially great. Now that we’re wrapping up two weeks, I can confidently say the bolognese we had here was the best pasta any of my group had our entire trip.

The Unique al Palatino restaurant did not fully meet expectations. The mise en place left something to be desired: the cutlery was placed on a runner that appeared worn and not perfectly clean. In the center of the table, the centerpiece featured flowers that didn't appear to be particularly fresh. Despite the use of quality ingredients, the dishes did not impress with the excellence of their flavours. Furthermore, the internal environment could benefit from a renovation. The restaurant's garden is certainly charming, but the presence of insects affected the experience. Note, however, the kindness of the staff.

A quiet and wonderful place where my girlfriend and I spent a wonderful evening! Excellent food and very attentive and friendly staff!
