Un posto storico per Torino. Abbiamo mangiato all'aperto al sole primaverile ed è stato piacevole. Il cibo non è stato pienamente convincente; ho mangiato la polenta concia. Personale gentile, il servizio ha avuto qualche disguido di cui si sono scusati.

We went last night with a copy of Amici Inglesi. From welcome to service, kindness reigns supreme. Excellent food that respects tradition albeit with interesting variations (see the stuffed capon). Excellent desserts. We will definitely be back!!!

Attracted by the advertising on social media I wanted to try this piola but unfortunately it turned out to be a disappointment in some ways. The food is of good quality but very small in portions and the prices are decidedly high. To be a bowler/bowl fan I expected more abundant dishes, I had to fill myself up with breadsticks and I left the restaurant still hungry. An appetizer, a first course and wine €38.00 per person. If I had continued with the second course, dessert, coffee and digestive, I would have reached close to 70 euros. Truly excessive. I won't go back.

Piatti tradizionali eccellenti, in particolare peperoni con bagna cauda, buoni anche i secondi assaggiati, ossia stinco e brasato. Personale gentile, servizio veloce. Prezzi adeguati. Da ritornarci ovviamente per provare i primi.

Improvised evening...4 friends and a beautiful dive into the past... Open that door and you see a small but important portion of history...an old piece of furniture, paintings, old posters hanging in the two rooms... They welcome you as if they have known you for years... Pleasantly read that menu that tells important and concrete dishes of the great culinary history of our Piedmont. You will taste quality and simplicity... Please don't leave without tasting the desserts!! Congratulations to all of you, to the kitchen, to the dining room staff (welcoming, prepared and fast..) truly compliments from the four of us!! We will return other times during the week too....!!!

03/06/2025: Un posticino delizioso della collina torinese. Antipasti, primo, secondi (alcuni ordinati, altri gentilmente offerti) ben cucinati con ottimi ingredienti. Non sono riuscito ad assaggiare i dolci, che avevano un'ottima aria, per mancanza di spazio...Ambiente molto amichevole. Digestivi sul tavolo. Prezzo adeguato alla quantità ed alla qualità.
10/03/2025: Happened by chance, very rustic environment, it feels like staying at grandma's house, and like at grandma's you leave with a full belly! Fixed menu of typical Piedmontese dishes (I think 😁) all very good!!

26/06/2025: Atmosphere: The lights are a bit low in the evening, but nice. Service: A clever guy brought us steamed ravioli instead of braised ones, they always do that if it's not noticed. We picked up the frisbee. Food: It's gone down a lot compared to 4 years ago. Good times, the oil
