We've been to this family-run restaurant several times and can't recommend it highly enough! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Owners Maurizio and Elisa are delightful and truly convey the passion they put into their work. The food is truly delicious, with attention to every detail. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a pleasant evening.

We dined at this little restaurant to try something traditional. The dishes were excellent, with delicious "chicchette" of the day. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, making you feel immediately at ease. I personally appreciated the fact that you could dine without having to worry about the clock, without feeling rushed. Highly recommended!

I don't understand the negative comments at all. Yes, you do have to wait a bit (about 20-30 minutes) for the appetizer, and yes, there were people who arrived after us who got their food before us (presumably because we took a little of everything and therefore had a rather large order), but the quality of the food served to the table is something I've hardly experienced anywhere else in Follonica. The waiter is extremely friendly and knows his products very well, explaining exactly what's on them, which almost no one here does (yes, chicken liver is special and not everyone likes it... so you leave it alone or just try it). You don't feel like you're in a restaurant where you're "just rushed"; it's not a mass-produced product that you get here, and that just takes time, which I'm happy to wait for. Kudos to the cook, who's alone in the kitchen, for the quality of the pasta (even my parents, who have worked in Italian cuisine for 35 years, said it was some of the best pasta they've ever eaten). If you're coming with hyperactive children, this is the wrong place for you and you should probably eat at McDonald's instead. There, you can leave trash everywhere and be as loud as you want. 😉 Highly recommended if you're looking for quality food! 😊

A small, family-run restaurant... excellent food and a very pleasant atmosphere... what struck us most was the owner's kindness! Highly recommended!

A small but charming place. It's run by a young couple, very kind and friendly. The food is truly excellent. My partner and I ordered a large platter and two pici with Chianina beef ragù, finishing with cantucci with Vino Santo. Everything was delicious. True, there's a bit of a wait (not that long, actually) because it's just the two of them, but it's totally worth it. We'll definitely be back before we leave. Definitely worth a try.

You don't go to Maurizio and Elisa just to eat. You come here to spend time in the company of excellent food and professional, friendly service. Leave your rush at home; you won't be served quickly just to move the table. You'll be pampered, and as we all know, doing things well takes time. Highly recommended! The seafood carbonara is one of the best things I've ever eaten!

Sono tornato molto volentieri. Bistrot eccellente, Unico come è denominato sull'insegna. Maurizio e la sua compagna gestiscono il tutto con saccente competenza e avvedutezza. Credo sia la loro filosofia nella ricerca delle materie prime e la cura della clientela. 10 & lode!
