Quelle surprise de trouver un restaurant dont la spécialité est le poisson et les crustacés à Elice, dont la renommée a été faite par son pastificio (la mugnaia).
Des produits de qualité cuisinés avec soin. Un accueil chaleureux et une ambiance détendue.
Je conseille vivement le détour.

The most unpleasant thing is the lack of a menu with the consequent fear of looking like a beggar by asking how much this or the other dish on offer might cost. Ate a discreet cold fish starter (three marinated anchovy fillets, artisanal tuna in oil, a prawn, a mantis shrimp, a small piece of fish with pomegranate, some cod with peppers, a salad, I think cuttlefish. I forget something in everything there were no 8 tastings) and a tagliolini with seafood (count 4 and a half forkfuls, therefore approximately 70 g). A liter of microfiltered water, a quarter of rosé and a coffee €32. Tablecloth and cloth napkin. Waiter (I think he is one of the owners or a direct relative) with a hole in his T-shirt explained the menu a bit, forgetting about the excellent mullets that I saw being served at other tables. In short, the impression of being treated differently from regular customers, who perhaps know the restaurant's methods and menu better, is accentuated by the lack of paper with which it would be easier to assemble one's meal. When it comes to fresh fish the menu can vary, but this can be avoided by adding on the list: ask for off-menu items. Good quality ingredients, discreet preparation and reasonable value for money.

Excellent environment; mediocre service (you have to bring it with the roast, without being asked, a plate to throw the thorns in and, anything else that is not edible); then the fish I ate was all poor fish, mainly given to hot appetizers and second courses. Then the photos don't correspond to the hot ones put on Google: mussel soute; gratins were not brought. Price too expensive compared to the fish given (for the second course we are there even if it is missing: monkfish, sole and, in its place, poor fish is put: red mullet, small cod and, large cod but, with the hot starters we are not really there 38 euros starters + main course per person. Then there is no lunch or dinner menu and a wine menu to understand the prices.

Passing through, we stop for lunch. Not short waiting times, but all in all not very long either. Ordered a cold starter, a first course and a fried dish. Everything average, including the bill. I point out the lack of menu which is something I personally don't like, justified by the fact that what is offered depends on the fish available.

Attentive and friendly service, average food, overall good.
However, I would like to underline an unpleasant point for me which is the absence of a written menu. I asked if there was, I was told it wasn't updated so only verbally. It seemed like a normal way of doing things to me.
I recommend writing the dishes of the day with the relative prices on a blackboard. As even bars now do. It is the customer's right to know the specific prices.
I spent 70 euros, from starter to dessert.
