So so good, everything labeled "community favorite" (b sandwich, blueberry scone, etc) will seriously rock your world, and they add new stuff to the menu too that is amazing. A great local spot with a strong commitment to ethics and community and the kindest, most competent employees. Post up with a chai tea and a book for the morning and feel like you live in a quaint small town in a romance novel 💕

The best coffee spot in Jamaica Plain

The food (vegan ‘chorizo’ scramble and vegetarian burrito) and coffee were delicious. Great place to sit and chat. However, the customer service was extremely brusque, to the point of being rude. I was surprised, as I expected a more welcoming experience here.

We love to get beverages from Ula but the food is very inconsistent from visit to visit. From burnt tempeh to undercooked bacon, the food can be a gamble. As mentioned in several reviews here, the service could be better. While the staff is mostly nice and welcoming, they are often inattentive and slow. We have gone in to pick up orders that aren’t in the pick up spot only to realize our food has just been sitting in the counter as employees walk past for extended periods of time. We enjoy supporting this local cafe and are excited to see they are applying for a liquor license but it is hard to see the draw if the service and quality remains inconsistent.

Food's good, coffee is quite decent. Found the service when picking up to be a bit lacking. Was directed to some shelves to pick up an order. Checked, nothing there in my name, so I waited. And waited and waited, while plenty of other folks came in and picked up their orders. Eventually one of the staff members asked me my name for the order. It had just been sitting there on the counter, out of sight of customers for who knows how long. Pretty annoying, though the staff member did apologize it did little to ameliorate my frustration. Sandwich and baked goods were good though.

I stopped by to buy a latte, it was very delicious, My sandwich. Rich I will return another time for breakfast Inside ,

I loved this cafe, the decoration is very nice, they have the best Ice Matcha and the people very kind.
