I hadn't been there in a long time because the quality of the past has faded, especially on weekends.
I went in the middle of the week and found my old face improved. The ricotta was spectacular. I'll be back.

I went on a Sunday and I have to say that compared to the past, I found the prices a bit high, like baked anelletti for €9. The Faccia di Vecchia was slightly salty and the focaccia was good. The food was excellent but not exceptional. The problem was the physical line—it's unclear which order people enter, and we waited over an hour. The girls serving our tables were professional, alert, and quick.

Unfortunately, and I speak as a restaurateur, the service was poor, even a lamb chop was missing and the girl who brought it to me literally tipped it onto my plate. Maybe it's a place where you only have to eat the face of an old woman. I won't go back there again.

A historic restaurant, where the deliciousness and quality of the food has never changed.
Excellent for a quick stop with an old lady's face or moffolette with sausage. But also for a full-blown lunch with mixed appetizers (the fried ricotta is excellent), first courses, second courses, and desserts. The welcome is warm, friendly, and attentive to your every need.

La "Faccia di Vecchia" specialità della casa è un appuntamento al quale non riesco a rinunciare. Gli chef Giovanni Piccolo e Giustino il Grande offrono alla clientela il piacere di gustare una pizza con mollica, cipolla, formaggio, pomodoro e origano, antica ricetta contadina. In questo locale,peraltro, tutti i piatti hanno i sapori genuini dei prodotti tipici della cucina casalinga. A venti minuti da Palermo l'ospitalità della casa la fa padrona.

Mi sono trovato benissimo per tutto il pranzo. Cibo ottimo delizioso e abbondante. Grande cura del cliente. Personale sempre disponibile, sorridente e preparato in tutto. Un grazie speciale alla primo sala Lena che segue tutto grande gentilezza. Tornerò sicuramente
