If you don't want to wait in person, you can sit at the outdoor tables and order what you want at the counter. The problem is that there's complete disorganization at the counter; the place is small, and between people waiting, people behind the counter starting 10 more before finishing one order, and people waiting to pick up, it creates excessive confusion. It would be enough to put up numbers so that people come in, order, and leave. The typical products (faccia di vecchia, ricotta fritta, and desserts) are very good and affordable. I don't think the first courses are €8.

I've been going to Uncle Caliddu's for many years. He's the star of the show and has an old face, but all the other typical Sicilian products are delicious. I recommend it as a place for lunch or dinner. It's a very clean place, with very kind and qualified staff.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Whatever you eat, from the Sicilian appetizer to the fried ricotta, the moffoletta with ricotta, the porchetta, the faccia di vecchia, or the cannoli, it's all delicious.

04/11/2025: Perfect Simplicity by the Sea This restaurant was recommended to us by a Sicilian friend from Palermo, and it was a total success. We arrived early and were lucky enough to get a table with a spectacular sea view, like we were on a boat. The food was simple and delicious. I ordered spaghetti with seafood ricci di mare and devoured every last bit 🤤 authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. My husband had fish: beautiful presentation and impeccable quality. The place is simple and unpretentious, which makes it even more special. Later on, it gets busy, and the service becomes a little slow, but that's part of the charm, and it's completely worth it for the view and the quality of the food. We would return without hesitation. An authentic and delightful spot by the sea.

07/01/2026: We ate outside under a tent, when it started raining it started to rain, the food was very good and plentiful, the service was quite fast.
