An extraordinary restaurant where we dined two evenings, including New Year's Eve. We discovered a succulent lamb with artichokes, so delicious you'd lick your fingers! A restaurant not to be missed if you're visiting the Roya Valley. Book in advance.

The borage ravioli were excellent, better than the appetizers. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the famous rabbit, as we weren't hungry and wanted dessert (the amaretti and chocolate cake was delicious). The portions were generous and excellent value. The Rossese di Dolceacqua was delicious. One truly negative point, which obviously isn't the fault of the owner: three tables of people, lacking any respect for one another (likely not even possessing the cultural background to understand the meaning of the word "respect"), spoke in such a loud tone that any dialogue was impossible, except by submitting to rudeness and using a tone of voice more suited to a stadium than a restaurant. If you're a couple, I recommend asking if there are groups when booking, to avoid completely ruining your evening (unless dining al fresco is possible).

I can't go wrong here, the owner is super nice, the cousin is just like the one I used to have, if I close my eyes, I feel like I'm at my grandmother's table, the food is excellent, the price is fair, the best in my opinion is the Ligurian style rabbit, here it's really unbeatable

It's a stunning place, a true gem of Ligurian cuisine, nestled in the charming Piazza SS. Giacomo e Filippo. This restaurant captivates with its authenticity and warm welcome.
What to expect:
• Traditional Ligurian cuisine: dishes such as pansoti with walnut sauce, Ligurian-style rabbit, roast lamb, and borage ravioli are among the most popular.
• Generous portions and authentic ingredients, often carefully prepared directly by the owners.
• Family atmosphere: the ambiance is simple yet welcoming, with attentive and friendly service that makes you feel immediately at home.
• Fair prices: the average cost of a meal is between 20 and 30 euros, making it affordable without sacrificing quality.
Recommended:
Spinach gnocchi with pesto, pumpkin ravioli with butter and sage, spinach fettuccine with rabbit ragù, sirloin with green pepper.
If you're in the Airole area, it's definitely worth stopping by for a dinner celebrating the authentic flavors of the Ponente region.
PS: Reservations are recommended.

A typical restaurant in an old cellar where, in summer, it's cool. Mama's cooking is excellent +++ and the owner welcomes you with all his Italian knowledge! Go there, you won't be disappointed 😁
