We reached Favara coming from Agrigento, attracted by the Cultural Park. The trip was already in itself an immersion in nature which comes to life in spring and offers all its colors and scents.
The chosen day did not favor a large influx of tourism and we were able to enjoy all the beauty of the widespread artistic forms found in the recovered part of the town. This alone would have been joy enough to take home as a souvenir of the day. The stop at this trattoria-restaurant was the classic icing on the cake. With sincerity I must say that the choice was made almost out of obligation, as there aren't many options in the surrounding area....but as soon as we entered, we were welcomed with a kindness that warms the heart. The owner personally took care of us by offering us tastings of local oil while waiting for the dishes ordered, he left us in our conversations and with our times even though we were close to their closing and moreover at the end he further honored us with almonds and local liqueur. Truly a pleasure to discover that there are still such places and people who put customer satisfaction first and feel the responsibility to offer the maximum of their culinary skills and product quality to those who sit at the table. We really worked hard to extend this feeling of pleasant pause to the maximum, and in return he also offered us some fruit, confirming everything said above. I therefore conclude with thanks for this holistic well-being that has been offered to us.

Do you remember the rat named Remy from Ratatouille? An influential food critic, whose one review is enough to force the restaurant to close, raves about the dishes prepared by Remy the rat :) Just as we raved about the linguine agli scampi, cavatelli alla cavour and Mandrarosa wine at this restaurant. Delicious food that you won't find in many fine dining restaurants. It is difficult to get here because the traffic in the city is complicated. But it's really worth finding this place, with a less than effusive and even reserved owner.

Excellent typical restaurant. The cuisine is made only from fresh, seasonal and local products. You have to ask the owner for a pitcher of local wine and let yourself be guided in the choice of dishes.

Delicious food, very relaxed host.
Everything freshly prepared. At the end there was lightly salted almonds and an amaro. The combo is awesome.

Very nice owner. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on the first evening. But then we met the owner and he told us he would be open again the next day. Google's opening hours could be adjusted more often to avoid such situations. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated. The owner was very accommodating.
The food was very tasty and the service was also very good. We had the opportunity to try different local products.
