U Maccicuni wine & food In Favara

Excellent food, we enjoyed an exceptional grilled meat. They offered us and made us taste a truly excellent local oil and almonds accompanied by a truly exceptional local amaro. I highly recommend it.

While looking for a place to have dinner, we came across this place. We already peeked inside from the windows and it immediately captivated us. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the owner and shown to our table. The environment is very welcoming and familiar, allowing guests to feel at ease. While reading the menu the owner offered us a taste of the excellent local oil accompanied with good bread. Excellent first courses and local appetizers, prepared with care and in sight. Wide choice of wines. Prices slightly lower than average. During the evening we got to know the rest of the staff who confirmed the professionalism and friendliness that the owner had conveyed to us. We spent a very pleasant evening full of good food, lightheartedness and familiarity. Absolutely positive experience, so much so that we returned the next day for lunch.

We came to Favara for six days and stopped at Maccicuni on our first day. We came back three more times. We tried antipasti, pasta, dishes with meat and seafood, desserts. All of it had home-made taste and was freshly done. Home wine is delicious. The place is cozy and feels like home. Definitely the best place in Favara and one of the reasons to come back. All the best to the owner, the chef and other staff members!

Restaurant à recommander ! nous sommes allés sur base des commentaires sur internet et n'avons pas été déçus ! Service au top (par le patron) , aux petits soins pour ses clients. Le patron nous a fait découvrir la ricotta toute fraiche, l'huile d'olive locale (Val Paradiso et grâce à lui, nous sommes allés visiter le moulin à huile où nous avons été bien reçus pour une visite guidée). La bouteille était à table et nous pouvions nous en resservir. Les pâtes et les variétés de poissons et fruits de mer, très frais ont fait pétiller nos papilles. Patron très généreux, même dans ses assiettes ! Très bon conseil pour le vin. Avons mangé en terrasse. Nous souhaitons y retourner lors de notre prochain passage. Bravo à toute l'équipe pour cet excellent travail ! Merci pour votre acceuil et service !

Fantastic food - we had carbonara and seafood risotto, and very friendly staff. Perfectly situated at the square. Definitely worth a visit.

We stopped for a quick lunch before going to the valley of the temples, highly recommended top pasta, their oil is excellent and the service is perfect, if you pass near Favara stop here.
