U Maccicuni wine & food In Favara

We arrived there by chance, but what a joy, a typical, home-cooked restaurant. The staff and owner were super friendly. The owner let us taste the bread dipped in salted oil and the homemade piperade. We found ourselves chatting with two other couples on the terrace. It was a great evening.

I came with my wife on September 18th. Even though it was 3:00 PM (close to closing time), you welcomed us with extreme courtesy and served us exquisite dishes. At the end of the meal, the owner gave us a complimentary bottle of excellent house amaro. With love and respect, Aurelio

It was soooo delicious! I had carbonara and my companion had seafood. Truly fantastic. The service was super friendly and incredibly sweet. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

An osteria with an authentic flavor, where you can experience a homey and welcoming atmosphere. The dishes are generous and truly delicious: the spaghetti allo scoglio and spaghetti alla carretera, true local classics, are unmissable. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always available, making the experience even more enjoyable. At the end of the dinner, they offered us coffee and amaro, a much-appreciated touch. Special praise to the chef: the quality and attention to detail of the dishes truly deserve praise. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic local cuisine!

The leftovers in this restaurant are excellent and taste very fine and are superbly prepared. It is a family business and the people are friendly and accommodating. At the end there was an Amaro from the house.

Ci è stato consigliato U Maccicuni dal proprietario del B&B l, nel quale abbiamo alloggiato, come posto dove mangiare qualcosa di tipico siciliano. Aspettative soddisfatte a pieno, pur avendo possibilità di mangiare anche piatti più "nazionali". Ci siamo sentiti come a casa nostra con piatti caserecci di ottima fattura e con ingredienti freschi, stagionali e soprattutto "della casa". Una menzione particolare va al proprietario Giuseppe la cui genuinità e gentilezza ci ha fatto sentire come se fossimo a casa nostra. Consigli e grandi gesti di generosità nei ns confronti ci hanno reso sentimenti di grande gratitudine verso di lui al punto di sentire il bisogno di fare un brindisi con lui alla sua salute. Prezzi più che onesti e posto assolutamente consigliato!

Restaurant is een aanrader voor liefhebbers van de authentieke Italiaanse keuken. De gerechten zijn met zorg bereid en zijn echt lekker. De gastheer maakt het bezoek bijzonder door zijn ontvangst en persoonlijke aandacht. Na afloop van de maaltijd werden we verrast met een gratis drankje, wat een erg attente en gewaardeerde geste was. De sfeer is gezellig en uitnodigend, waardoor je je direct op je gemak voelt.
