03/03/2025: Historic place, large environment, a little retro, 50s-60s style, but elegant and in keeping with the customers and the staff, who are also elegant, kind and professional, but a little retro. It is not usual to find a place with bright, sparkling ceiling chandeliers, where you are served impeccably by attentive waiters in white jackets, bow ties and black trousers.
The Catania pizzas are good, the strictly traditional scacciata is good, with tuma and anchovies, but with an excessive flavor and a little dry. The baked arancino with spinach is excellent. This too is now difficult to find in Catania takeaways. The baba' and the baked carnival chiacchiere are good. Wide choice of desserts, ice creams (5 types of chocolate ice cream), breakfasts, first and second courses.
Good quality/price ratio, but not all products have their prices displayed to the public. This, unfortunately, is a shortcoming common to many places in Catania and the surrounding area.
Free parking reserved for customers.
Last night after the theater we returned and had a margherita pizza and a focaccia with cherry tomatoes, both good. The classic onion is excellent, one of the best tasted in Catania and its surroundings.
27/02/2025: An Italian restaurant, you can eat inexpensively if you take one dish, the portions are large, so one dish (pasta in my case) can fill you up. Here you can drink a delicious cappuccino even at LUNCH, which pleasantly surprised me. The waiters are men over 40, dressed in white suits, they look very official, it adds its zest to the establishment. A large selection of desserts. I recommend it
