Tropicana Beach In Follonica

The week before Ferragosto (August 15th)... I wanted to spend a day at the beach with my grandchildren. From the parking lot, we stumbled upon Tropicana Beach for convenience. I asked if there was a beach umbrella available, and the asking price was €50 for four people. I explained to the lady that it would be fine (even if there were four or five of us in a row), but that there were three of us, plus a four-year-old child and a newborn. With a knowing eye, she told me that I would then have to get two umbrellas for a total of €100 for a day at the beach, and that she couldn't do otherwise out of respect for her customers (,,, even though she explained that my eldest grandchild and I would be spending the whole day playing on the beach). I'm giving it 5 stars because, thanks to the not-so-kind lady's suggestion, we moved two or three beach clubs away, where for €30 we found what we were looking for, and with the €70 saved, we discovered an excellent restaurant (in the same beach club) that made our day even more enjoyable.

A truly beautiful and clean beach resort....the umbrellas are far apart...a week of peaceful and relaxing vacation!!

A small stretch of beach, very clean, not particularly pretty, and noisy because a loudspeaker plays terrible music all day. There are showers and changing rooms. 2 people/1 day = €50 + €10 deposit for the key.

A perfect beach resort for a wonderful day at the beach. Prices are in line with other restaurants in the area, and the lunch is delicious with several options to choose from. Efficient and attentive service, with clean and tidy common areas. A special thanks to Martina who put up with us all weekend ☺️
