Trombone In Fondi

Food is the reason most people choose a restaurant, and while it's true that we're now more or less aligned with a medium-high quality standard, people choose it for other reasons as well. I personally come to ReTrombone every now and then, but since I have my own restaurant, I don't have time, at least in the summer. I can tell you that having a place where the people serving you are kind, polite, competent, and "absolutely delicious." I didn't mention the owner Alessandro in the review because he doesn't deserve it, 🤣 I'm kidding, all the credit goes to him. Well done guys. Excellent service. ...

While my girlfriend and I were driving down the road to Terracina, feeling a bit hungry, we decided to stop for pizza at this restaurant. Honestly, we were a bit taken aback by the name 😂 A big plus is the fairly spacious and convenient parking. The friendliness and professionalism of all the staff made our stay even more enjoyable. Hungry, we ordered a quick appetizer of bruschetta and Zeppoline (I think that's what they're called... but they're definitely homemade, and I highly recommend them, as the waiter already mentioned, simple and excellent). We ordered two pizzas and were honestly really satisfied. Personally, browsing the vast and extensive menu (also inspired by the fragrant dishes passed by when the surrounding tables were served), I'd say we need to return to try the cuisine as well as the pizzeria.

I called Re Trombone to order takeout pizzas to the beach, including a gluten-free one (I'm celiac). The gluten-free pizza dough is prepackaged and the pizza is cooked separately. All the pizzas were very good, including the gluten-free one. It's a shame the staff was unfriendly and uncoordinated.
