A magical place. Starting from the view, how can you not be enchanted? And the owners: Mrs. Emilia who cooks everything in such a tasty way and Mario's hospitality and friendliness, a perfect combination. Excellent value for money, see you next time

Mario welcomes guests with friendship and kindness. The Trimalchio overflow is small, familiar and wonderful. The view of the sea, Mario's company, the delicious food prepared and cooked by Emilia and her right hand express sharing and love. The desire to leave never comes and lunch lasts until 5pm, between chats with the other guests and a glass of wine. In the end it becomes a joyful shared meal and we say goodbye with the promise to return. There are few seats, fortunately, and the atmosphere is certainly a beautiful story.

At the beginning of June I had the pleasure of having dinner at the Il Trabocco Trimalcione restaurant. The location is simply breathtaking, a truly magical experience that transports you to another dimension. However, I must admit that the enchantment of the place was not enough to compensate for the disappointment of the dinner. First, the timing was truly unacceptable: we arrived at midnight to receive four dishes. I understand that the atmosphere can overshadow some inconveniences, but the waiting time was excessive. The restaurant takes a unique approach, relying completely on the host to choose the dishes. This could be a fascinating element if the execution was up to par. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The host kept emphasizing that they work on reservations only and that they make their daily fish purchases based on what they find. However, the mussels, for example, had a dominant burnt garlic flavor that made them unappetizing. The chickpea and scampi pasta turned out to be a chickpea dish, with the scampi practically non-existent in the overall flavour. As the main course, we were served a sea bass cut into slices like salami and grilled, full of bones, inedible and dangerous. And finally, the "dessert" was the icing on the cake of a disappointing evening: an ice cream cake that looked like it came straight from a discount store. In summary, Il Trabocco Trimalcione is a wonderful place that offers an unforgettable atmosphere. However, the quality of the dinner was well below expectations. It's truly a shame that a potentially perfect evening was ruined by such a disappointing dining experience.

Truly a one-of-a-kind experience. There is no other location in the world that can match Mario and Emelia's Trabocco Trimalcione hospitality and cooking. Every dish is prepared and served to perfection in the most relaxed and comfortable manner.

Lovely place, it was just us, a group of 10 friends, and a table of 2 people, the place cannot contain others. Excellent food 7 courses of fish plus ice cream and fruit. I highly recommend it

We had 8 courses + digestivo: toast with fresh anchovies; octopus; tuna; mullet; shrimps; pasta with shrimp and chickpeas; sea bass; semifreddo with strawberries and cherries. Exquisite. Wonderful service and atmosphere. Book well in advance. Only three tables per seating. You will be there for several hours.

Having lunch in an overflow is in itself a unique experience, is having lunch at Mario's with Emilia's cuisine what each of us desires? Four tables necessarily close together, a moment of exclusive sharing. Simply refined cuisine where aromas combine without prevailing. Considering the exclusive place and the quality of the dishes, the bill is amply justified. I wish it were like this everywhere. Thank you
