A very small, authentic restaurant where the owner personally cooks, serves, and chats with his guests. Delicious food and a truly friendly host! Absolutely fair value. We paid €50 for three glasses of wine, two main courses, dessert, and limoncello for two. Unfortunately, we were only in Pisa for one day, otherwise we would definitely have come back.

Basically recommended, I initially gave it 5 stars because the food was really tasty.
However, in the evening (unfortunately much too late) I noticed that the bill wasn't quite right. We paid 77 EUR, of which 45 EUR were for 3 meals at 15 EUR each. So we paid 32 EUR for 2 small bottles of water, 1 espresso and 2 glasses of red wine... Unfortunately that doesn't fit.
Conclusion: you can eat well, but you should be careful when paying the bill (there is no real bill, everything is written down in a notebook).

We had an excellent dinner at Triclinivm Taverna Romana. This was one of the most memorable dining experiences we have had while travelling in Italy over the past month. Alessandro the chef, made us feel comfortable like we were at home with his relaxed manner. The dishes were both authentic and delicious. After our dinner, Alessandro entertained us and another couple with his guitar. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. One we won’t soon forget.

The place is small, but very atmospheric with delicious food. The menu is different every day. A small disadvantage is paying in cash, but despite this inconvenience, it is worth visiting this place and tasting Alessandro's cuisine.

The food. The cook. It's an experience.
Its my second time here after a year, still one of the best meals and services in my life. Alessandro is unforgettable. It looks like a small family business and that's what it is, but what you get on a plate is far from "small". Italian kitchen as it's best. Don't miss it while in Pisa.

En un enero húmedo no esperaba encontrar mucho abierto. Esta joya oculta estaba con un anfitrión tan encantador. Había una opción para los vegetarianos y el fetichismo era fabuloso. De postre compartimos un Tiramisu igualmente fabuloso. Después de cocinar nuestra comida nos trataron con jazz en la guitarra. Lo recomendaría.

A hidden gem! Tucked away, fresh menu, choose from a blackboard and then cooked by Alessandro. It was delicious fettuccine, we also had tiramisu which was equally wonderful. Alessandro then got out his guitar asking if we would like bassanova or jazz! Wonderful food, fabulous host, a great experience. 5 stars!
