One of my all-time favorite trattorias, even though it's only the dishes themselves—all Roman and delicious. The prices have skyrocketed, but it's definitely worth it.

Earthenware dishes and traditional home cooking, perhaps a little too much for some, but still genuine. We happened upon it one evening on our way back from the beach... a simple dinner, good but unpretentious.

Family dinner was a complete success. A very nice place, with a very pleasant atmosphere. Diego, the owner, is not only an excellent sommelier but also an exceptional host. The Roman cuisine is superb, with excellent tripe and roast lamb pajata. The amatriciana is mouth-watering, as are the tagliatelle with farmyard ragù and the pannicolo-filled buttons. Nice selection of wines and a delicious ricotta and sour cherry pie. Excellent value for money for this city, where a pizza can cost as much as €40. I will definitely be back.

I'll start with the sweet notes: the best bucatini all'amatriciana I've ever had. A dish worth the visit!
A very nice location, informal yet welcoming, perfectly in keeping with tradition.
Negatives: Unclear bill; specifically, I didn't order water or bread, but I paid €2.50 for water, €2.50 for bread, and another €2.50 for the cover charge. I also paid €7 for a glass of wine, but that makes more sense. For goodness sake...the restaurant sets the policy, but the cover charge (€7.50 in the end) seems EXAGGERATED compared to the style of the trattoria... with this choice, they unfortunately lose points and style. Otherwise, the food is phenomenal. Too bad.

Trattoria with good service, excellent dishes. Don't expect to enter a trattoria but rather a restaurant given the high level of professionalism.
