A restaurant that, along with other dishes, has revived long-forgotten Roman culinary traditions. Pleasant atmosphere. Good wine selection from renowned wineries. The service is informal yet impeccable. We ate very well; both the first and second courses were perfectly executed. My only suggestion: try to slightly lower the prices of those traditional dishes, making them as accessible as they should be. As for the rest: congratulations!

Roman food. Limited menu. Friendly staff, but very slow service. The amatriciana was good, but not the best I've had in Rome. The friggitelli (fried peppers) were excellent. The desserts need some updating.

Let me start off by saying that this is one of the most authentic trattorias in all of Rome. This is a hidden gem in Rome and I highly recommend anyone who is in Rome to visit this place. The place is very rustic and modern, and the staff is excellent. The food was incredible, very traditional roman dishes done right. The best part about this was the fact that it had zero tourists and it is off the beaten path.

The quality of the ingredients was incredible, cooked beautifully. The first courses were a little salty, but as is often the case with Roman pasta dishes, the bread was also excellent. The fettuccine with sheep ragù was unforgettable 😍. The dessert, unfortunately, wasn't up to par. It was a zabaglione, but I tasted raw flour in it. Maybe I'm wrong, but it wasn't pleasant in the mouth. It's a shame to end an excellent dinner like that! The staff is exceptional ☺️

We came a long way to try this trattoria, famous for its typical Roman cuisine: homemade, authentic, and deeply rooted in tradition.
We were seated on the restaurant's outdoor terrace, a very pleasant atmosphere that made the start of the experience even more welcoming.
Let's get straight to the food. The menu features a section dedicated to lovers of fifth quarter, and I couldn't resist the chicken giblets with potatoes: a distinctive texture, diced potatoes, and a bold flavor—a truly explosive start. It was all accompanied by what I would call the best bread I've ever had in a trattoria. It's no coincidence that it's priced at €2.50.
Then came the pasta: a top-notch amatriciana, served in a generous bowl.
The guanciale was excellently prepared, perfectly crispy, with a thick, flavorful sauce.
Next came fettuccine with mutton sauce, a less common dish but equally well executed: rich, rustic, and a top-notch choice.
We also tried a second course: chicken with potatoes, without any particular flaws, well-cooked and tasty.
To finish, the classic ricotta and sour cherry tart: perhaps not memorable, but still good and well-made.
Overall, I found the food exceptional, even if the prices were a bit high, except for the pasta dishes, which were very generous.
The dishes, however, were a bit small. The number of staff employed at the restaurant surely had an impact on the costs, or at least I hope so for them. In conclusion, try it and you will surely be satisfied!
