Il paese è veramente fuori dalle rotte tradizionali, lontano tante curve dai luoghi turistici ma vi posso garantire che l' esperienza di mangiare da Giovanni e fratello è da vivere, assolutamente. Nulla a che vedere con l' Alghero e i suoi bastioni. Qui da Giovanni assapori la vera Sardegna, le cose della tradizione e le materie prime di eccellente qualità. Unitamente alle mani sapienti dello chef e del fratello che in sala ci ha accompagnato in tutto.. Mangiato benissimo, ci hanno fatto assaggiare un lardo di un maiale sardo con cioccolato fondente e miele aromatizzato al limone. Un mix clamoroso, molto delicato , abbinamento di qualità... il prossimo anno non mancherò di ritornare .... grazie fratelli Sotgiu

I totally agree with the best reviews I've read. Certainly EXCEPTIONAL restaurant, but now in 2024 we spend practically double compared to a few years ago.

Small place!
Nothing special, we were there years ago and the food was much better, for being a restaurant they expected something more, à la carte menu with little choice, no menu for vegetarians.

Gente del posto mi ha consigliato questa trattoria. Sono andato a cena da solo e mi sono fatto consigliare dal titolare qualche piatto loro della tradizione.
Ho preso un ottimo primo fatto con un pane biscottato di cui non ricordo il nome con funghi porcini selvatici colti direttamente da loro e per secondo uno spezzatino di asinello. Per dolce il cugino delle seadas (non ricordo il nome neppure di questo). Il tutto con del buon vino rosso cannonau.
Tutto ciò che mi è stato servito era davvero ottimo, la location è davvero caratteristica. Servizio attento e cordiale.
Il prezzo assolutamente giusto.
Consiglio a tutti di andare, non ve ne pentirete

What an excellent restaurant this is. You get authentic Sardinian dishes and Superb customer service 👌 from Lello, Barbara, Chef Giuseppe and ofcourse Grandma who always sits in front with a beautiful smile 😍.
Highly recommend when in Sardinia. Specially in Cossoine.

Excellent traditional cuisine restaurant. Highly recommended. The venue and the flavors of the cuisine are reminiscent of times gone by. The sign recalls the true values of a restaurant, freedom for those who eat and those who cook. A round of applause to the kids who resist and exist in a small village in the Sardinian hinterland.
