The ragù and octopus salad were delicious. The quality and price were decent. The waiter was a bit awkward, but he did his best. Positive review.

As Bell'Italia suggested in its Sardinia special, this is a place in the heart of Sassari where you can enjoy excellent traditional, home-cooked food at very affordable prices. We ate excellent handmade culurgiones, Sassari-style eggplant, incredibly tender tripe, and a mind-blowing seada with honey. All this under a cool barrel vault, even when it's 35°C outside. Family-run, with no frills but plenty of quality substance.

Sick of overpriced ,tasteless food? Then come here for simple home cooked food ,made and served by local woman , at a fair price. There are no gimmicks, no fancy glasses or cutlery, and the woman can't speak a word of English . Places like this are why I like to go abroad.
If you like none of the above ,stay home and go to your local run of the mill Italian restaurant and pretend you are abroad.

Posto mitico immutabile nei tempi: sembra di essere tornati agli anni '60. Servizio celere e spiccio. Piatti semplici con alcune eccellenze sassaresi: favette, trippa, monzette e, soprattutto, per uomini veri dallo stomaco forte ... la fantastica Cordula e la Favata a Carnevale. Ambiente semplice e spartano, sconsigliato a snob e figli di papà. Ottimo rapporto prezzo / qualità.
