The appetizer, featuring Piedmontese products, was delicious. Let's talk about the polenta concia. The butter was black and burnt; we couldn't tell if it was there or what the cheese tasted like. Every now and then, after 2-3 spoonfuls, a faint strand of cheese would emerge from the plate. A friend of ours had venison with potatoes, which was quite good. The desserts were eight or ten different kinds, not one of them made, not even the apple pie! Honestly, I don't want to argue, but serving polenta with black and burnt butter can seriously harm customers.

It's a bit like eating at home.
The polenta concia is very good and plentiful. Reasonable prices. In my opinion, the cover charge is too high. €2.50 for a disposable tablecloth is a small sandwich, a bit too much.
The dining room is a bit dated. A little more cleanliness and order wouldn't hurt.

Overall, I was a little disappointed by the lack of any side dish. Not wanting to eat polenta with meat, I asked for a side dish of any kind, but there were none. I found this very strange. So I just had the polenta. They didn't even bring us a menu with prices, so the bill was a surprise. I found those two things quite unusual.

The best polenta concia I've ever eaten, when we go up to Oropa Vittino it's traditional to rediscover the flavour of the concia from when I learned to ski in the prá d'occhi🤣🤣🤣

My "average" rating is primarily motivated by two factors: today there were absolutely no vegetables available. Then, we didn't choose appetizers because the selection of cured meats seemed a bit limited and anonymous: mortadella, cooked ham, and Milanese salami. There were also pickles and the classic tomini cheeses. However, from a Piedmontese trattoria, we would have expected something more local... perhaps a Piedmontese appetizer, for example... Perhaps it's the time of year—the week after mid-August—that penalized the cuisine... Also, top marks for the truly excellent polenta concia and the stewed venison were very good. The bonet served with chestnut honey was also good. Local red wine. Friendly and courteous staff. Quick service. Good coffee. Average price.

Trattoria situata alle spalle del Santuario. Arredo datato ma in ottimo stato. Buono l'antipasto freddo e superlativa la polenta concia. Disponibili vari piatti tra cui il cervo con polenta. Antipasto polenta concia dolce caffè vino sfuso e acqua a 25 euro a persona. Non date retta alle recensioni negative. Il mangiare è ottimo. Se cercate un ristorante stellato questo non fa per voi

La vera cucina tradizionale piemontese - biellese, buona e genuina. Per me è stato un autentico salto nel passato, e mi è piaciuto.
