After a few years, we decided to try this trattoria in the Pigneto area again. The menu is very basic, with limited first and second course choices. The wine list is barely adequate for a place that calls itself a wine bar. Among other things, we ordered two glasses of Prosecco, which were brought to us already filled without us knowing which bottle it came from. Overall, much more could be done...

Some of the most delicious, yet simple food Roma has to offer. The owner /waitress was running the show on her own and doing a fabulous job. Very affordable compared to other restaurants in Roma we have eaten at. You’d be so lucky to dine here as we were. Don’t miss out!

A welcoming place, courtesy and kindness above all, the dishes are simple but with great care, I had the meatballs which I found delicious and brought back home, the lasagna with ragù delicate, tasty and traditional, a small menu that also offers specials of the day... a little corner of tranquility and serenity.

A must-try in Pigneto for those seeking authentic home cooking. The menu is always interesting. Eating at Paola is like visiting your grandmother. The main ingredient in her dishes is love. You eat well and feel right at home; there's no need to add anything else.

31/01/2026: My family and I had two lasagnas for dinner, one tripe and one carbonara. The dishes arrived not very hot, just lukewarm. The lasagna was so-so, the tripe was good, but the carbonara was too salty. The focaccia was good. With a bottle of wine, we paid €103.
19/01/2026: Excellent for the quality of the food and the friendly, courteous service. Highly recommended for Roman cuisine, but everything else is also very good. We've been there before, and it proved to be a definite hit! I'll gladly return every time!

09/10/2025: Small pizzeria located just opposite our hotel, hotel’s breakfast is also served here. We tried many pastries and all of them are good, of course the coffee is splendid too!
30/09/2025: We had an absolutely wonderful experience here! The food was simply perfect—delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Every dish we tried exceeded our expectations. On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, making us feel truly welcome from start to finish. It’s rare to find such a perfect combination of excellent food and outstanding service. Highly recommended!
