After a few years, we decided to try this trattoria in the Pigneto area again. The menu is very basic, with limited first and second course choices. The wine list is barely adequate for a place that calls itself a wine bar. Among other things, we ordered two glasses of Prosecco, which were brought to us already filled without us knowing which bottle it came from. Overall, much more could be done...

Some of the most delicious, yet simple food Roma has to offer. The owner /waitress was running the show on her own and doing a fabulous job. Very affordable compared to other restaurants in Roma we have eaten at. You’d be so lucky to dine here as we were. Don’t miss out!

A welcoming place, courtesy and kindness above all, the dishes are simple but with great care, I had the meatballs which I found delicious and brought back home, the lasagna with ragù delicate, tasty and traditional, a small menu that also offers specials of the day... a little corner of tranquility and serenity.

A must-try in Pigneto for those seeking authentic home cooking. The menu is always interesting. Eating at Paola is like visiting your grandmother. The main ingredient in her dishes is love. You eat well and feel right at home; there's no need to add anything else.

Andrea and chef Paola will welcome you with familiar manners making you taste excellent wines and with a type of cuisine that will make you feel at home and at the same time taste quality products. 06/12/2025: A very good trattoria in a residential area of ​​Rome. If you want to escape the noisy atmosphere of central Rome and enjoy some typical Roman dishes, this is the place to be. The atmosphere, though not particularly elegant, is welcoming and classic. The food is absolutely the highlight. I had the zucchini flowers with anchovies and mozzarella—good, nothing special. Next, I had the oxtail stew. Wow, what a dish! Delicious! The tomato sauce was delicious, and the oxtail was perfectly cooked. Excellent service. Perfect price.
26/11/2025: Fast service with courteous and professional waiters. We dined on a weekday and there were many people. Very popular with Romans. Appetizer, first course, dessert, and coffee. Fair price.

14/11/2025: Came across this restaurant and so happy we did. Some of the best customer service I have come across. It is family owned and we had the pleasure of meeting them upon our many visits while staying in Rome. The food was amazing. All the dishes we tried were food for the soul and I only wish it was closer so I could visit more often. Was definitely the type of atmosphere that made you feel at home, well fed, and well taken care of.
