Family run restaurant with great atmosphere and fair prices. Parmigiana di melanzane and homemade semifreddo are recommended, but the former is best not to be ordered with lasagna, as it can easily cause taste fatigue. There are four or five kinds of wine to choose from. You might also want to consider trying them.

The best food i had in italy. I had the parmigiano, and tiramisu. Both were fantastic. The restaurant is family owned, very cute and homemade vibes. I really enjoyed it. Yes it is off to the side, not close to the centre, however if you are in the area you should definitely give it a try. They also have a great website with all the details about the food and how its prepared, highlighting all dietary restrictions. I enjoyed the experience a lot.

Un luogo caldo, piacevole e rilassante. Un posto in cui è possibile assaggiare sapori delicati e buoni. Un valore aggiunto riuscire a dialogare con le amiche/i senza un assordante rumore di sottofondo. Un posto intimo.

Idilio is a small restaurant that from the moment you enter you can breathe a homely atmosphere. The lady who works there is charming and the dishes she prepares are authentic and different from the conventional. I loved the experience. A 10!

Particular cuisine, good products, prices are low. It is run by mother and son. There is a good selection of wines. Small but welcoming place. The feeling left by the experience there is one of serenity. Advised

We went to this place to celebrate a graduation, we felt like family. We ate very well. Each simple dish but prepared with attention to detail, as if homemade. Fabulous lasagna, ditto the gricia and the meatballs.... great care for the gluten-free dishes which turned out to be delicious. All with super generous portions. Excellent wine and staff available to our every request. We will definitely be back soon

18/05/2025: The only place in Rome where I ate very well and spent normally. I went to several restaurants and this one turned out to be the best. Pasta alla carbonara, matriciana and cacio e pepe are fabulous, I also recommend the coda alla vaccinara, very good.
16/05/2025: Simply great. Authentic, savoury, healthy and great product. The cuisine here is what you would expect from a typical Italian nonna. Furthermore, that is one of the only restaurants I came across that hasn't surfed on the hype around Rome and still has reasonable prices. Tasted homemade gnocchi, with artichoke and guanciale. Probably the best gnocchi I've had, ever. Would recommend anyone to come here for a great lunch. No crazy atmosphere, no groundbreaking concept, pure authenticity. Simply loved it.

18/05/2025: Everything was perfect, and the waiter Marco was very friendly and pleasant. The service was top-notch, and the food and price were quite good.
13/05/2025: Without booking, we were able to dine (full room), friendly and funny waiter, good pizza (8 or 9€), beautiful decoration and discovery, finally a restaurant in Rome that doesn't make fun of tourists, Grazie!!
