30/06/2026: I had the pleasure of eating at Ristorante Pizzeria Il Giardino in Zagarolo (Rome), and the experience was truly positive.
The location, open since 1931, is spacious and well-maintained, spread over two levels. The rooms are easily accessible by elevator, or you can access them directly from the historic center. The ample parking is also very convenient. The rooms are tastefully furnished, clean, and tidy, while the garden is truly beautiful and well-kept.
The pizza is typical Roman, thin but not crunchy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. I highly recommend the boscaiola. The restaurant's homemade sausages and supplì are also excellent: authentic, just like the ones they used to be.
The first courses and meat dishes are also worth trying. A special recommendation goes to the tordomatto, a typical Zagarolo dish that is absolutely worth trying.
A place I happily recommend to anyone looking for good cuisine, tradition, and a welcoming atmosphere.
28/06/2026: We're regulars, but every time it's
A surprise. Yesterday we went for pizza with friends; the price listed is for the pizza itself. The girls were very kind, quick, and knowledgeable. Daniele (the owner) is an excellent host, helpful, and very friendly. Excellent fried food and top-notch pizza. We'll definitely be back.
