I've been frequenting Trattoria Via Vai in Bolzone di Ripalta Cremasca for about 20 years, almost always for lunch on weekends. My father discovered it thanks to an article by Beppe Severgnini featuring the best tortelli from Crema, and it's remained a firm favourite ever since. In fact, it's even improved over the years. I love it because it's a refuge from the chaos of Milan: immersed in the countryside, with a bike path along the river for an after-lunch stroll. Easy parking, zero stress. The atmosphere is refined and welcoming, refined yet homey, between the dining room and a bright winter garden. The menu is streamlined: a few local dishes, fresh ingredients, authentic flavors with a touch of creativity. Portions are just right: you leave full and satisfied, without overindulging. The wine list is interesting even for discerning palates, with Italian and international labels (especially French). Stefano knows how to advise and guide: although I'm not a great expert, I've always had a great experience. This is my first review after many years of attending: I promised it, and here it is. Congratulations on the commitment and care you put into what you do. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful time. The dishes were very tasty and well-balanced, with generous portions and a quality wine selection. The location is very welcoming, creating a flowing, almost magical atmosphere, especially in the outdoor area. I really appreciated the jazz lounge music playing in the background during the meal. The staff were always helpful and friendly.
