Trattoria in the center of Carru' where "BOLLITO" is celebrated. This restaurant has several dining rooms, including one upstairs. The atmosphere is pleasant and familiar. There's a tasting menu for €42 or à la carte. The staff is attentive and fast. The chef made the rounds of the tables at the end of the service—a truly friendly person. The boiled meat is the star of the menu. Book well in advance, otherwise you won't find a seat.

Having come to Carrù to buy some excellent salami and then had to go to Piozzo to buy the fabulous nashi, we stopped here for lunch.
It's the first time we've eaten at this restaurant, although years ago, when there was a day dedicated to oxen, they offered a tasting tour, and I think they had an excellent broth here.
As soon as we sat down, they brought us a complimentary salami with excellent bread.
My husband and I ordered the boiled meat, and I enjoyed the different cuts; everything was excellent, even the puree and cabbage.
I also wanted to try the hazelnut cake with zabaglione, which was exceptional.
The service was perfect; the waiter who served us was very good and professional. We will gladly return.

A regular stop for years. Historic, beautiful, and unique location. Excellent dishes that reflect the great Piedmontese cuisine. The Gran Bottino Misto reigns supreme, a true excellence. The sauces accompanying the boiled meats are delicious. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. Highly recommended.

I only ate. I can't rate the rooms here. I chose the €37 menu. Everything was very good. The boiled meat was special. The service was a bit confusing. I'll definitely be back.

We were there yesterday, Sunday lunchtime, there were 8 of us... Raw meat, Russian salad, and excellent ravioli!!! Warm and welcoming location, capable and professional staff... The only "flaw" was the large boiled meat; the sauces were excellent, but some cuts of meat were a bit tough in my opinion.
Good wines, attentive service, the lady who served us was very kind and polite. Value for money... I expected a little more in the portions, we would have gladly had a few seconds 😉
The quality of the dishes, however, was very good.

I beg to differ with the previous review because, despite a misunderstanding (completely avoidable on both the owner's and our part), the overall dining experience was perfect. The attention, care, and love that permeates this place is palpable. The food is truly excellent, the presentation meticulous, the quality of the ingredients high. The lady who served us was particularly attentive, always smiling, and I appreciated her consideration for my food intolerances. The chef stopped by to say hello to everyone at the tables, which was particularly appreciated. The owner stopped by several times to chat and was very pleasant and good company. Il Vascello d'Oro is an excellent restaurant for good food and company!

Bollito Restaurant with a capital B
Historic location, traditional dishes with authentic flavor. Many small rooms just like at grandma's house.
The raw meat and Russian salad are spectacular.
The homemade ravioli are reminiscent of family Sundays, with a tasty filling and ragù that exudes passion for cooking, culinary experience, and the local area.
Five stars are not enough. Kudos to the kitchen for their professionalism and culinary art, and to the dining room for their hospitality, courtesy, and service.
