Unfortunately, it is no longer the Valenza it once was.

A small neighborhood trattoria where time stands still, just like the decor, and where you can eat excellent, typical Piedmontese dishes perfectly prepared with the freshest ingredients.
We appreciated the welcome from the managers and, above all, the fact that the owner doesn't push you to consume.
Thank you very much 🙂

The food was not great. I expected so much more from such an authentic-looking restaurant, however it did not deliver. The people working there were very nice and hospitable, but the main thing at a restaurant should be the food, which was not up to par.

It's like being with family. It's a historic trattoria in the heart of Borgo Dora. Typical Piedmontese cuisine: capunet, boiled meat with mashed potatoes, tripe, braised beef in Barolo... Tajine with fondue, gnocchi, raw meat. And then the house coffee. All authentic, and excellent value. I love this place.

It's not the kind of restaurant I expected.
Poor service, below-average food.
The bathroom is dirty and difficult to access.

The atmosphere is very inclusive and family-friendly; dinner with friends outside in the courtyard is very pleasant. The food is good, though the Ligurian-style gnocchi were perhaps a little oily, but overall we were satisfied (the appetizers were good; anchovies, peppers, and eggplant were very welcome, and the fish from the harbor for dessert was a delicious end to the meal).

The place is vintage, the service is good, and the cuisine is traditional and excellent at affordable prices.
For those who don't want trendy places but good food.
