If you're in the area and want to eat REAL Calabrian cuisine, come to this trattoria. It's a special experience, as a true Calabrian tells you. Be wary of other places; the dishes aren't typical, but VERY TYPICAL!! The welcome and the raw ingredients are worthy of the name "CALABRIA." My compliments to everyone for the service and the dishes; I felt like I was eating the same dishes at home. May God bless these places again, because they are the soul of this beautiful region. Definitely worth a try; you won't regret it. Generous portions and EXCELLENT prices. Congratulations again, from the bottom of my heart.

My boyfriend and I went there this evening for a typical Calabrian dinner! The staff were incredibly kind, the food was excellent, the ingredients were top-quality, and the portions were generous. Everything was perfect! If you're in the area, try this trattoria with your eyes closed. It's like eating at your grandmother's or at home, and the REAL Calabrian dishes. My compliments, because they are fantastic in every way!

A small, secluded restaurant, but very comfortable and welcoming. Home-style cooking and an equally warm welcome. Excellent food, you can feel the family feel... kudos to everyone. I recommend calling to reserve; we were lucky because we were the last table... There are really only a few places.

A typical osteria you'd expect to find in the Praia countryside. Family-run, with the mother in the kitchen and her children running the dining room. Prices are in line with the tourist area.

The place is a bit drab, with a modest exterior and no indoor seating if it rains. The food is very mediocre; the much-vaunted lagane and chickpeas taste like they've been reheated in the microwave, with the lagane completely dry. The prices are also quite high for what you get.

Looking for a quaint place with local cuisine, we found this trattoria. Our expectations were not disappointed. The place is charming and, above all, quiet. The staff is extremely friendly and the cuisine is traditional. The ideal place for a relaxing evening enjoying traditional, unpretentious cuisine.

I was looking for a little place off the tourist map where I could try simple cuisine that was a bit more local... I'd say I succeeded... simple atmosphere, family service. No pretensions of speed... you dine in the calm of old times... you leave satisfied. The prices are also reasonable for what you're served... worth trying again.

Small and quaint. The lagane and chickpeas and the fusilli with tomato sauce are highly recommended.

Away from the chaos of the city, this place is fantastic with a breathtaking sea view… wonderful food and a peaceful atmosphere.
